For a few years I've been pestered by my nephew to read these books. Finally I made him a deal, I'd read the first one but he had to read a book of my choosing (Different Seasons by S. King). I've never watched the show, but know a few things that happened just by being around others who love the show. Wish me luck, and maybe by the time I read all available books, there will be the final book on the horizon. I won't hold my breath though.
