So with all the GOT Spin-off's coming out, I thought I'd give my own pitch for a spin-off, well two spin-off's, but unlike the others, these would be something different, as my pitch would not be for a prequel Spin-off, but a Sequel spin-off, or Sequel Spin-off's I should say, so let's get into them, shall we.
First one is called:
22 Years Later: The Game of Thrones Continues and Ends Again.
It would be a 2 or 3 season limited series and as the title would suggest, it would be set 22 years after the events of the Season 8 Finale, in it, we learn that Westeros has been prospering under the new leadership of Tyrion and Bran the Broken, though Tyrion has been doing most of the heavy lifting, we learn that Dorne has been given it's independence to avoid a rebellion in Dorne, The Iron Islands have been destroyed from a vicious Hurricane and Earthquake, and sank into the sea, with Yara taking most of the men she could and becoming a Pirate in Essos, like her uncle before her, while the rest of the survivors (very few there were) have been forced to intergrade into either Northern or Westerosi society, a Red Hooded Vigilante (later revealed to be The Son of Ned Stark and Ashara Dayne, and the true heir of Winterfell) has been scouring the streets of King's Landing, punishing Criminals, and branding them with the Red God's Symbol, that suspiciously as a Stark Direwolf in the middle, and in the North, Sansa has mysteriously died, Jon returns and tries to take her place as ruler of the North, however Sansa legitimized all 5 of her 8 bastards (three of which where with Lord Tallhart, who legitimized the other three under his name, and the two of those three were poisoned by the third so he could become heir of Tallhart hold), and one of the, Ayrian overthrows Jon and kills both his Direwolf Ghost, and his Oldest son Jeor, crowning himself the Mad King of The North.
Leading to the Dance of Wolves, between Ayrian Stark and his Bannermen (plus House Tallhart, House Glover, and House Cerwyn, Plus a Mercenary company from the East called the “Stormcrows”), Margery Stark and the Freefolk under the Command of Jon (Plus House Hornwood, House Mormont (whom survives through one of Lyanna’s sisters), and the Tully Armies from the Riverlands), and Robb the II and Sandor the I Stark and whatever Commonfolk resistance he could gather (plus House Ryswell, House Manderly, and the Knights of the Vale), however when Ayrian attempts to go back to stop the NK’s creation, things don’t go well (Spoilers, it’s retconned so that he is the NK, after he tried going back to stop his creation, he merges with his mind and becomes the NK). Meanwhile In the east a resurrected Dany (now the head Red priestess) with her son with Jon, Rhaego the I Targaryen, prepares to attack Westeros and reclaim, it while meanwhile Davos leads a mission to West of Westeros, Americos, to find out what has happened to Arya, with help from the Natives there, were we learn she and some of the people of the Tribe there, were taken to the Land of the Gods, which we learn is Yi-Ti, as Arya is forced to fight in a Mortal Kombat-Esque Tournament for both her and the Tribesmens freedom.
However, the new Bloodstone Emperor (revealed to be Euron Greyjoy, whom survived and now much more Book Accurate, and hasn’t age a day due to him prolonging his life with Black Magic and Necromancy) also has plans of invading Westeros, and Bran and Arya learn more of the true history of Westeros, Bran learns this through the Greenwood, and Arya learns this through searching through ruins in Americos (which we see via flashbacks), we learn of the of what truly brought the Coming of the Daynes, what caused the Doom, and the creators of the Weirwood and the Valyrians, and Dragons, whom are not of Planetos, But beyond…out in the dark…among the stars, and they want to return, to kill there failed experiment, and destroy Planetos, with enemies on every corner Tyrion, Bran, Sam, and others must prepare for what lies ahead, and wonder if they can stop it all. Oh, and Bran is secretly training Little Sam (whom is older now) to be the next 3ER.
Beyond the Thrones
Now the other idea is called Beyond the Thrones, I don’t have a full picture of what this would be about yet, but the main point would be that it is set many years after the Main series, and takes place in a Westeros that resembles are modern day world. And explores what has happened there over the past years, the characters in it, and a new threat from the stars, as well as the return of the Others like the other idea. And some ideas are carried over from the other one such as A Red Priest Vigilante (minus him being a Stark), Dany and Euron Returning (though Dany’s role is relegated to “the New Melisandre”, and Euron isn’t an Bloodstone Emperor, just a crazy Satanic Cult leader), and Bran (who is still alive, and an older man living under a different identity after faking his death) training a new 3ER (though it isn’t Little Sam, but a new character who shares the bloodline of House Stark).
