After watching the The Door it seems like Bran can be both in the past and present at the same time. But it also shows that maybe be he can be seen or heard while out in a vision. Also the TER makes it sound like they have been waiting on Bran for years. So what did I miss? What exactly can he do with his power and why is he so important? Other than giving the audience clues to the story there must be a purpose for him to push the story or else the TER wasted his time on Bran. Or is his only purpose to allow the white walkers to cross the wall. It seems like now that he is touched if he passes the wall so can the walkers.
There is also some importance on Brandon the builder of the wall. Is it possible that he too is Bran? Trying to keep the white walkers out?
Theorists? Book readers? Anyone have any answers or ideas?
