After re-watching the series for a second time, it occurred to me that the final season appears to have no decisive antagonist, until Jack and his gang betray Walt in "Ozymandias". Similarly the concluding four or five episodes completely fuck up the previous status-quo; Walt's relationship with literally everyone (Skyler, Jr, Jesse, etc.) are essentially forever destroyed, and he spends the last 6 or 7 months of his life in depressing exile. In other words, did Walt really get the ending he deserved, and did it the pace it came at prove to be suitable by the end of the series? Or as a bigger picture, is the ending of the show really as perfect as everyone claims it to be?
