This scene is always weird to me. On the one hand, it feels like a mercy killing - she is a nurse, and he is obviously suffering from a fatal wound (especially if she witnessed it). On the other hand, it feels like she just fucking shot the bastard who ruined her life - there was absolutely no tenderness to her act. She doesn't even say anything. I suppose it's also possibly a combination of the two: she doesn't want him to suffer but she's also so angry about Meghan/Megan and everything else.
