Aside from the obvious 'Hey, that's not Ser Duncan the Tall, it's just the guy who played Hodor', if any of the actors from the current 'Game of Thrones' series could be recast as someone from the ASOIAF history, who would you want them to be? Some starting points:
Who plays Aegon the Conqueror?
Who plays Nymeria Martell?
Who plays a young Barristan Selmy?
And so on...
