Are we really sure the "final boss" of Game of Thrones will really be the White Walkers?

Now I know what you're thinking, "If not the White Walkers who they've been building up for the entirety of the show, then what other character or faction could it be?" It almost seems too obvious to have the show end in a cliche good vs. evil battle to save the world. Now, I do think there is more to the White Walkers than the typical evil antagonist but I also don't think they're the last obstacle for our story. I still think we're waiting for the final heel twist.

Once the dust settles and the White Walkers are defeated, the attention turns to the dragon queen. I think Dany will be, for lack of a better word, the "final boss" in Game of Thrones. I've been getting Mad Queen vibes from her the entire series and I think the writers have brought it out strategically throughout to remind the audience of her father. After all, "Every time a Targaryen is born, the gods toss a coin in the air and the world holds its breath to see how it will land."

We don't have a definitive answer on whether she will turn out like her father but she's shown flashes of it. Tyrion has had to pull her back from "turning cities to ash" and has burned, crucified, and fed masters to her dragons.

How could this happen? This is just baseless speculation but perhaps she loses all three of her dragons in the wars to come which causes a great deal of emotional stress and pain. After the loss of her child with Drogo, her dragons became her children so maybe that loss will drive her into madness in the same way it drove Cersei into madness. It would be an interesting parallel to see both go mad after both losing their three children.

I mean, how terrifying yet surreal would it be to see Dany slowly descend into madness like her father and brother? I can just picture Dany yelling "burn them all" and "you don't want to awaken the dragon" before realizing what she's saying while Jorah and Tyrion look on in horror. It would be a callback 8 seasons in the making.
