Just realized how much Walt Jr. contributed to Walt's downfall

There's without a doubt that throughout the series, Walt has held some prejudice against Walt Jr.'s condition to a certain extent. There are many scenes where you see Walt's discontent with his son as he's unable to understand what he's saying and as of result, it's impossible for them to have a more personal conversation.

Walt is driven by his mad ego, but that doesn't take away from his love of chemistry. He could never dream of sharing his passion with Walt Jr. or would he had attempted to. Here is where Jesse comes into the picture, originally a junkie loser in Walt's eyes, became an apprentice per say, and he slowly helped Jesse grow and eventually he was able to make the same quality of crystals Walt could. Walt saw Jesse as his son, he was able to truly understand Jesse, have real conversations, and share his passion of chemistry.

Walt Jr's short comings resulted in Walt's endless efforts in protecting and saving Jesse, and it wasn't due to guilt, or compassion, as we know Walt is beyond that at this point. He told Jesse "his actions has consequences", well clearly that doesn't apply to him when he goes around getting himself and his family in deep shit just to save Jesse from his mindless antics.
