[Spoilers if you aren't caught up] What I'm hoping to see this season on The Walking Dead

  1. I'd like to see a little less suffering, please. They've already done child murder (and child murderers), ritual murder, revenge killings, the whole Abraham-and-Isaac thing with the hatchet, rape, torture, slavery, human trafficking, cannibalism... ease up just a bit.

  2. I find it fascinating how a herd of zombies can exhibit traits reminiscent of a storm system, like a force of nature from which one hides in the cellar until it passes. A shotgun against a herd is like an umbrella against a hurricane, that sort of thing. I wonder if a large enough herd would rotate. And then on the other hand, a herd of zombies is also like a super-organism, one that responds to stimuli and can be wrangled and controlled, even used as a kind of WMD. I think it might be cool to have a sort of new kind of "zombie master" villain who controls a herd (or multiple herds) and knows how to use zombies as weapons and even tools. We've seen these ideas explored a little bit on both shows (probably more on Fear) but I want much more of this stuff.

  3. After everything Daryl's been through, I'd get him an appointment at a good Italian barber.
