Will Gimple try appeal to the mainstream fanbase?

Not the best title, I know but since FTWD gets a lot of hate from twd fans im worried he'll just obey them, e.g. bringing back Travis and troy and then having the Troy/Nick romance they're obsessed with because every friendship has to be gay these days
