The very end of the episode made me so mad. I was expecting Dexter to get taken down and killed maybe. I was expecting anything other than what actually happened. When they cut to the lumberjack scene I just sat there in complete dismay.
Also why the heck did he dump Deb in the ocean?! That's where he dumped the bodies of all the criminals he killed (I know it's not in the exact same spot where he likely dumped all their bodies, but symbolism and shit), so I don't understand why he did that. Deb was my favourite character and she deserved a much better ending. I burst into laughter when he was removing her from the hospital, simply because of how ridiculous it was.
I'm curious as to why the quality of the show dropped so drastically and really wish I had stopped watching at around season 4.
