In regards to the ending of season 7 leading up to season 8.. what is the current state of the realm?
North: Ruled by King in the North Jon Snow, pledged to Daenerys (So is he back to Lord Paramount and Warden of the North??)
Riverlands: I think technically Baelish was the last official LP of the Riverlands being granted Harrenhal.. or were the Freys also granted Harrenhal and LP of Riverlands? I forget. I'm guessing Edmure Tully would technically be in charge now? Though still a hostage.
Iron Islands: Salt King Euron Greyjoy.. or is he a LP again since he's "under" Cersei?
Westerlands: Uh.. Cersei probably is taking control by force. Not sure who the next technically living heir should be though. Tyrion? He said he's not sure he's a lord anymore though since he killed his father. Other than him IDK?
Vale: Robin Arryn, not sure who his ward will be though. Waymar Royce?
Iron Throne/Crownlands: Cersei obviously.
Reach: Supposedly all Tyrells are gone, obviously not the case in the books but regardless. Tarlys were I believe made LP of Reach and Wardens of the south.. but they're gone. So one could argue Samwell Tarly is? But technically not as well since he swore the night's watch vow. I'm guessing it would fall the to Hightowers next, assuming no other Tarly familys like was the case with Tyrells.
Dorne: I mean the Sand Snakes never would have been in charge anyway, Arianne would be ruler, but not in the show. So I think they will just ignore it because I don't even know who else could be ruler in the show at this point.
edit: Derp forgot one of the reasons I made this post;
Stormlands: ??? in the future maybe Jon and Dany legitimize Gendry and make him lord of storm's end, but who is at this point in the show? Selwyn Tarth is the only named lord I can think of in the show. Maybe Davos somehow via Stannis?
Does this sound right?
