(I am also posting this on TSDF forum) Here is how I think Gimple wants things to go down :
When season 8 ends, Rick found mercy thanks to Carl (RIP) and spared Negan, throwing him in a cell. Morgan, after the bar slaughter and the war ending, has lost all purpose but his mind survived. Embracing the "go and not go" philosophy and heads for a mission far away, to find new groups and strenghten Rick's new trade system. Motivated by his past grief, he obviously returns South to Atlanta, to his old house, Eastman's, etc.... in events that will either be shown during one of the timelines of FTWD's 4a or as a flashback when he returns by Rick in 9a. He decides to keep going South, and at the end, reaches Texas where he meets new people and gets word about a giant group at the border, led by an american family : the Clark (for more info about this, read this theory I came up with about FTWD4 timelines and Morgan's point there : https://www.reddit.com/r/FearTheWal...ery_little_spoiler_a_way_i_could_see_morgans/).
So season 4 of FTWD shows Morgan getting close to Madison's society, the two just disliking and mistrusting each other. The consequences of the dam exploding are explored during the first half but some of it, and the rest of the season takes place at the end of AOW, when all is settled for the Clark and Morgan is in. Carol probably comes to check on him at some point, running into the farm and all, on her way there. She's trying to repay for all the times he went after her to make sure she was ok. She leaves him in Texas when she sees he's ok and comes to terms with her own need to overprotect everyone. At the end, Morgan convinces Madison to head North, for safety (maybe after Nick dies or something) and the season ends on a scene à la GoT 6x10, with the Clark's people sailing on a gigantic fleet. Then the 5th, and last season of FTWD, that will lead directly into a merging of both shows in season 10 of TWD (last one probably). In this season, we see Madison's people and Morgan parting ways as they land, maybe too early (maybe a storm comes crashing in and most of the people have drowned), and Morgan returns to Alexandria, promising Madison he won't say a word about her or her people. But, with TWD9 airing before FTWD5, we won't know it yet. Of course, he's back after the timejump in 9a. So I don't know what happens in the last season of FTWD, maybe the group meets Clementine from the game so that all TWD media can meet and be only one, but in the end, the Clark build the Commonwealth as we know it.
In season 9, Kang will have to finish what Sgimple started. The Whisperers arcs will unfold there and END at the end of the season. Morgan returns early on, arriving on a ship like Michonne does in the comics. The heads-on-spikes happen on the MSF with Negan leaving his cell, and in the MSP, he infiltrates the Whisperers and slays Alpha. The war happens in 9b, and at the end, the megaherd attacks Alexandria and either Morgan or Michonne dies (Morgan cause the events of #167 would be a fitting end for his character, and Michonne cause she's Andrea counterpart). I'd say Morgan dies, and before he does, he reveals that Eugene is right about the girl he's been talking to on his radio (either Stephanie, new character, or Alicia, this storyline being already foreshadowed by when she talked on the radio to this guy in FTWD2), and everyone didn't believe him. Now they do.
So then FTWD 5 airs, we find out why Morgan left Madison and didn't say a word about her group. When TWD10, the final season, airs, Carol keeps taking Michonne's storyline and leads a group with Eugene to go to the Commonwealth. And this final season shows the final steps of the rebuild of society, by parents having lost their kids (Rick, Madison, Carol, Michonne, etc...) to prepare a better world for the younger generations. Couples are made (Jesus/Strand, Aaron/Strand, depending on who dies, Daniel/Carol, Daryl & Alicia bonding, etc), alliances too. If they want to push the GoT comparaison even further they'll have Madison & Rick bang but hell no, Richonne's better. Anyway, the shows end as society is finally rebuilt and ensured with the Kingdom, ASZ, Hilltop, Oceanside, Sanctuary, & Commonwealth.
SEE WHAT U WANT THERE GIMPLE
