Walt is annoying as f*ck in Season 4.

All thanks to Gus.

Driving a wedge between Walt and Jesse worked like a charm because it drove Walt insane. Constantly nagging at everyone for answers, making a scene at Los Pollos Hermanos, bugging Jesse’s car and going through his phone, trying to manipulate Mike. I mean, shit, just fall in line bro! It is sort of awesome to watch Walt get shit on every time he tries to make moves though.

[MAIN SPOILERS] who would be a bad choice to be a ruler by the end of the series and would be disappointing? Someone you could see actually being on the throne.

For me it would be someone to obvious (maybe dany) or someone who it feels like was chosen just cause it would be surprising but doesn’t make much sense (maybe Jamie) . If it done right I would love to be surprised but I feel like it could easily backfire.

Jesse's story

This show has taught me through Jesse, that even if you make a few bad choices, it dosen't have to stop you from being a bad person. In comparison, Walt is a bad guy all round, who is smart enough to make good choices. Over time I have been rooting for Jesse more and more. Anyone else feel this way?

Calling it now, the next person to go will be...

Dr. Carson. The instant Siddiq mentioned that he was a doctor, the first thing I thought was Dr. Carson is not long for this world, similar to how Denise was doomed when Dr. Carson was introduced to the show.

They could have had Siddiq say that he had used to be any type of career at all, or they didn't even have to mention his background at all. They made him a doctor for a reason.

What are your thoughts?

New vs Old actors.

How do you think the original cast, who let's face it aren't the greatest of actors, going to hold up against the new actors, who are far superior? Namely Lennie James and Garret Dillahunt. Jenna Elfman is sometimes hit or miss, but she can be quite good too.

As for the original cast, they are pretty subpar. Frank Dillane has very limited range, and I think he's peaked. Alicia Debnam Carey can be good if she has someone else who is good to act off of. By herself, she's boring and forgettable.

I'm just not sure how the "originals" are going to keep from being buried by the "new blood" coming in.

[Main Spoilers] Varys and Ned's Plan?

In the very last Eddard chapter, we see Ned in the Black Cells where he first hallucinates Robert berating him for his pride and honor. Some time later, Varys visits him in the guise of a gaoler and they have a long chat about current events. Couple of things of note here - Ned asks Varys if he'd deliver a message for him and Varys replies "Sure, if its in my interest". Varys refuses to help Ned escape and makes the case that Ned either confesses his treason or Sansa is killed.

Some time later, an unknown man approaches Yoren with a boy for him and a purse of coin and tells him to stick around because Lord Stark would be headed to the Wall soon. And the next we see Ned, he makes his confession and is beheaded. Yoren then heads to the Wall with 3 recruits of note - Arya, Gendry and Jaqen H'qar.

Now, the straightforward interpretation of these events sounds pretty reasonable. Varys was trying to postpone the war. He managed to persuade Ned with the threat to Sansa. Cersei had every intention of sending Ned to the Wall and if Joffrey hadn't mucked it up, Ned would've headed out with Yoren.

But there are a few details that don't sit right with me.

  1. Contrary to popular opinion, Ned isn't stupid. He understands the game better than most people realize and he'd understand that Sansa is a valuable hostage. And if she is killed, Cersei wouldn't have any leverage left over Ned. The smarter choice for Ned probably would've been to stay imprisoned and let the war develop a little more.

  2. Varys wasn't there in an official capacity. He visited Ned as a gaoler - which means he wasn't relaying Cersei's message, he was telling Ned that this is what she would do. Shouldn't Ned have waited for an official threat to be made before capitulating?

  3. The message Ned wanted to give Varys - we have no idea who it was for and what its contents would've been.

  4. The idea was that Cersei would trust Ned to accept Joffrey's judgement because he was a man of honor. The problem is, once Ned confesses, both of his options are dishonorable. Either he keeps quiet about a bastard being king or he breaks his word. So Ned's honor itself wouldn't guarantee Ned's silence once he is out of Cersei's reach - and Cersei would know this. So its unlikely that she'd acutally send him to the Wall - atleast not until the war was over. So why would there be a man of Night's Watch ready to take Ned as soon as the sentence was passed?

  5. Varys asked Ned to confess his treason, proclaim Joffrey as the true king, denounce Stannis and Renly and command Robb to lay down his arms. In his confession, Ned only did the first two. While the others could be taken as implied - I don't think Cersei would've carried out the sentence until after Robb had actually surrendered to Tywin.

  6. Normally, politically significant people are taken to the Wall by sea. Less chance of them escaping or dying en route that way. This would've been especially true for Ned - rather than being sent through a war-torn territory, a large swathe of which was controlled by the Starks, sending Ned by the sea would make more sense. If so, why would he be handed over to Yoren, who was traveling by the road.

  7. Someone must have paid Yoren to take Gendry. And its not like Varys to take such actions on his own. My guess is, it was Ned's request.

None of these issues is anything significant on its own. But taken together, they seem to imply that there was a lot more to Ned and Varys' chat than we know about. That they thought of a plan to facilitate Ned's escape with, probably, Ned's support for the Targaryen restoration in the future. But for the life of me, I can't figure out the details of this plan.

The idea of Ned heading towards the Wall, only to escape mid-way and join his army sounds fine - but how was Varys planning on making Cersei agree to it? Letting Ned head to the Wall immediately and by road, no less, would've been pretty stupid even for her. Was Varys hoping that as soon as the sentence is passed, Yoren would come up to the stage and offer to take Ned there and then? And that since it was such a public spectacle, Cersei wouldn't dare refuse? That plan seems way too weak for someone like Varys.

And what was the point of making sure that Gendry and Ned end up in the same group? For Gendry's safety, he should've been kept as far from Cersei as possible - so why make Yoren (and by extension, Gendry) wait for Ned to be ready to go?

And what role, if any, did J'aqen play in all this?

Anyone got any ideas?

Thoughts about the endgame Gimple wants to reach with the crossover

(I am also posting this on TSDF forum) Here is how I think Gimple wants things to go down :

When season 8 ends, Rick found mercy thanks to Carl (RIP) and spared Negan, throwing him in a cell. Morgan, after the bar slaughter and the war ending, has lost all purpose but his mind survived. Embracing the "go and not go" philosophy and heads for a mission far away, to find new groups and strenghten Rick's new trade system. Motivated by his past grief, he obviously returns South to Atlanta, to his old house, Eastman's, etc.... in events that will either be shown during one of the timelines of FTWD's 4a or as a flashback when he returns by Rick in 9a. He decides to keep going South, and at the end, reaches Texas where he meets new people and gets word about a giant group at the border, led by an american family : the Clark (for more info about this, read this theory I came up with about FTWD4 timelines and Morgan's point there : https://www.reddit.com/r/FearTheWal...ery_little_spoiler_a_way_i_could_see_morgans/).

So season 4 of FTWD shows Morgan getting close to Madison's society, the two just disliking and mistrusting each other. The consequences of the dam exploding are explored during the first half but some of it, and the rest of the season takes place at the end of AOW, when all is settled for the Clark and Morgan is in. Carol probably comes to check on him at some point, running into the farm and all, on her way there. She's trying to repay for all the times he went after her to make sure she was ok. She leaves him in Texas when she sees he's ok and comes to terms with her own need to overprotect everyone. At the end, Morgan convinces Madison to head North, for safety (maybe after Nick dies or something) and the season ends on a scene à la GoT 6x10, with the Clark's people sailing on a gigantic fleet. Then the 5th, and last season of FTWD, that will lead directly into a merging of both shows in season 10 of TWD (last one probably). In this season, we see Madison's people and Morgan parting ways as they land, maybe too early (maybe a storm comes crashing in and most of the people have drowned), and Morgan returns to Alexandria, promising Madison he won't say a word about her or her people. But, with TWD9 airing before FTWD5, we won't know it yet. Of course, he's back after the timejump in 9a. So I don't know what happens in the last season of FTWD, maybe the group meets Clementine from the game so that all TWD media can meet and be only one, but in the end, the Clark build the Commonwealth as we know it.

In season 9, Kang will have to finish what Sgimple started. The Whisperers arcs will unfold there and END at the end of the season. Morgan returns early on, arriving on a ship like Michonne does in the comics. The heads-on-spikes happen on the MSF with Negan leaving his cell, and in the MSP, he infiltrates the Whisperers and slays Alpha. The war happens in 9b, and at the end, the megaherd attacks Alexandria and either Morgan or Michonne dies (Morgan cause the events of #167 would be a fitting end for his character, and Michonne cause she's Andrea counterpart). I'd say Morgan dies, and before he does, he reveals that Eugene is right about the girl he's been talking to on his radio (either Stephanie, new character, or Alicia, this storyline being already foreshadowed by when she talked on the radio to this guy in FTWD2), and everyone didn't believe him. Now they do.

So then FTWD 5 airs, we find out why Morgan left Madison and didn't say a word about her group. When TWD10, the final season, airs, Carol keeps taking Michonne's storyline and leads a group with Eugene to go to the Commonwealth. And this final season shows the final steps of the rebuild of society, by parents having lost their kids (Rick, Madison, Carol, Michonne, etc...) to prepare a better world for the younger generations. Couples are made (Jesus/Strand, Aaron/Strand, depending on who dies, Daniel/Carol, Daryl & Alicia bonding, etc), alliances too. If they want to push the GoT comparaison even further they'll have Madison & Rick bang but hell no, Richonne's better. Anyway, the shows end as society is finally rebuilt and ensured with the Kingdom, ASZ, Hilltop, Oceanside, Sanctuary, & Commonwealth.

SEE WHAT U WANT THERE GIMPLE

You know, how the Old Gods are seemingly associated with wargs and greenseeing (they only exist in the north, and it doesn't seem that it's the blood of the First Men), and we know of at least two people revived by a red priest/priestess (Beric and Jon) and that Melisandre manages to mask her old age. [MAIN SPOILERS] - Azor Ahai&Prince&Nissa Nissa Thoughts

Those three are at least strongly related even if the two were not meaning the same(I mean maybe AA=PTWP and if not, maybe Prince=Nissa Nissa(Dany) according to my thoughts), I wanted to think about who Nissa Nissa can be, which will lead us to find the others easily(AA possibly) and focusing on it first instead the others. Dany is the Mother of Dragons and the slaves called her "Nissa" so she has the title twice. Or maybe just the slaves' title and a possible son of Jon may make her "Nissa Nissa" and that's why it seems which of her lovers kill her will wield the Lightbringer and become Azor Ahai. the most probable candidates are Jon or Jorah then. She would sacrifice herself and let one of those to kill her in order to complete the Lightbringer for the future of the manking against the White Walkers. What do you think?

Breaking Bad has changed my life

In 2017 my money obsession was going through the roof. In November I decided to watch Breaking Bad (still the best days of my life), and it has changed the game. Not because I saw the effects of Walter's greed, etc, but because I had never got to see such a masterpiece before. It made me realize that the most important thing in life is to create quality content that you are really passionate about. Just as Vince did.

To sit in a writers' room and talk to others for hours about fictional characters must be a dream work. And this is what I would like to do in the future. To tell stories that impact other people's lives. Thank you BB and its crew.

I wonder how Jesse would have looked/been IRL

Because he's the second lead to the show, Breaking Bad had to make him redeemable in a way. He's a funny and good looking guy with a heart, but really, he's also a meth addict. You can't be a meth addict and still look and act like that.

I'm rewatching S2 and the way people like Gus see Jesse, calling him a junkie, irresponsible and high all the time looks very different from the way the audience sees him, his addiction is only implied.

‘Future Man’ on Hulu is incredibly entertaining and hilarious.

I am really surprised at how much I liked this show. It’s the right kind of funny. Not stupid funny. I haven’t laughed that much at a show in a long time, if ever.

The characters were great. The acting was awesome. I signed up for the 30 day free trial on Hulu to watch it.

[EVERYTHING] The Fate of Bran Stark

Okay so since I did a post on the fate of Arya Stark https://www.reddit.com/r/gameofthrones/comments/7j8v61/everything_the_fate_of_arya_stark/ And one for Sansa https://www.reddit.com/r/gameofthrones/comments/7r3o4p/everything_theoriespredictions_on_sansa_stark/

It only makes sense I do one for the third surviving Stark child Bran Stark. Now a lot of people don't like Bran or his story, But (and this will be a shock) I actually like Bran as a character and I like his story, I thought I was interesting seeing him grow and seeing him go on this Journey to find this Three Eyed Raven (Or Three Eyed Crow or BloodRaven or whatever he calls himself) to walk again only to find out he will never walk again he will fly. But there is more to that as Bran's Journey is actually very important, Because if he is important as Jojen and 3ER say he is then that means his endgame and fate are very important.

Like Sansa and Unlike Arya, Bran's arc is really easier to pinpoint as well but let's look at the options:

  1. He dies- Okay so a lot of people think he will be the Stark that dies, But to be honest I don't think he will because for one what would be the point of having him go on his Journey and secondly it would not fit with my theory of Bastards, Cripples, and Broken Things ruling the Seven Kingdoms. So I think Bran will live but if he does die it will be at the hands of NK most likely at WF.

  2. He connects himself to a Weirwood tree just as the 3ER did- Okay so another way his endgame could take him is history repeating itself, and Bran hooks himself up to a Weirwood growing old just as the Three Eyed Raven did long ago, Now idk if this will happen exactly like this but it would be really cool if history repeated itself.

  3. He becomes a Villain- Now one theory I heard is that 3ER is actually evil, and that he is using Bran and turning Bran into a dark person. The theory also goes further to say he is helping the WW's but for the show atleast that is not true but this could have some weight to it and it relates to the theory that GOT takes some inspiration from Ragnarok and maybe the Bittersweet ending, Though I don't think it'll happen atleast for the show this may be a book only thing (though I heard somewhere for the show he could be simply turned into a WW).

  4. He Wargs into a Raven- Now one thing that could happen is Bran dies but Wargs into a Crow or Raven and lives the rest of the days in the birds body. Now if this happens it would be fantastic for one it fits with what he has become, It fits with the words of 3ER "You will never walk again. You will fly" and also imagine Bran living the rest of his days as a Crow seeing the world's beauty from a Birds eye view, That would be beautiful. Only problem is that it means he has to die

  5. King in the North- Bran becomes King in the North, Need I say more.

  6. Sigh.....He becomes the Night King- Now this is my least Favorite outcome and that is Bran becomes the NK, The theory goes is that at some point Bran is going to decide he needs to go back in time and try to stop the WW's and change the Present for the Better. He first starts by going back to the times of the Mad King and whispers into his heart Build the Wall or something only for it not to translate and the Mad King starts screaming "Burn them All", Then goes back and tries to Warg Bran the Builder only to build the wall (which apparently is considered a failure), then finally he goes further back and Wargs into one of the First men and tries to tell the Children of the Forest about the future, They don't believe him of course and they gag him and strapped him to a tree putting a Dragonglass Dagger into his chest, Bran tries to get out but he was in there for too long and he gets stuck in the man's body as he is turned into the first WW aka the NK. Okay so this theory is really just stupid and I hope it does not come true, I don't even think I have to say why it's dumb.

[EVERYTHING] In what order should I read the different series?

Is there a particular order that I could read the books in that would enhance the story? There are a lot of prequels and I'm not sure where to start. Would information in one series help me better understand another? I am open to any and all suggestions, I've only watched the show and clips on YouTube but I am not worried about any spoilers.

Walt should have taken up Elliot's job offer.

That would be an easy 6 figure salary right there. Not to mention Elliot said Grey Matter had the best health insurance. The White family would have never been left in debt. Walt wouldn't have to continue lying to Skyler. He could have lived a much happier life.

[S3E5 Spoiler]Maybe a little "plot hole" about Chuck's allergy

Technically this isn't a real plot hole, but I don't know how to name it. I was rewatching S3E5, in the background we see Chuck, Jimmy and Rebecca having a dinner, with a lot of candle to brighten the house. Chuck is allergic to every electromagnetic field, so, technically speaking, also to all the electromagnetic wave. Always technically speaking, lights(and therefore also the light of the candles) are electromagnetic wave. But Chuck doesn't feel pain from the candles. I know this is a minor issue. Even the term "issue" is wrong in this context. It's a real smallness that gave me to think, but I wanted to share with you. I hope it hasn't already been discussed before.

'Dark' is a show that everyone should see. It's amazing.

I can not point out any faults in the show. Even when I think something does not fit right with a certain scene, its explanation comes later. And I can't understand why there's people comparing this show to 'Stranger Things'. There is only one concept that is comparable, and nothing else. It is a new and addictive story from the first to the last episode.

I love its cinematography, music, the fact that it's a German speaken show, the photography, but most of all, the casting process. I sympathized and understood all the characters that have been appearing throughout the episodes, and this is very good for a viewer. I felt like 'Breaking Bad': all the actors were extremely well chosen. Personally, I did not get tired of trying to understand the relationships the characters had with each other. They are all connected, one way or another.

And the screenplay ... For someone like me who loves 'Interstellar', I find this series delightful. I only wish that in the second season follow the same path. Everything is super interesting and with so much stories to explore.

Give 'Dark' a chance.

Sorry for my basic written english.

[EVERYTHING] If you could cut out the storyline of one single family, which would you cut and why?

It's a pretty popular opinion, but I'd have to either cut everything with Dorne and the Martells or with the Iron Islands and the Greyjoys. In the first few seasons/books, I don't mind the Greyjoys too much but once we move past season 4/book 3, I find everything with them to be incredibly dull and uninteresting. Luckily, the show actually trimmed a lot of that. And I don't think that Dorne really needs any explanation - especially with the show. It was bad enough in the books, but the show actually managed to make it even worse. Although I did really like the scene with Myrcella and Jaime right before she died. I thought that was incredibly tender and a great moment for their characters, and one of the better parts of Season 5.

I loved everything about the whole show. But I can't help but wonder if the end wouldn't have been better had Walt rigged the lab to blow up before the cops got there.

No body, no Walter White.

The Night King seems to have some sort of telekinesis or other magic ability involving ice or maybe just the ice weapons the Walkers make. The 2nd spear he throws curves almost 90° to hit it's target, which assuming he can control the spear, wasn't Drogon since he could've easily hit him. I'm assuming he was aiming for Dany thinking she's the last Targaryen and the other dragons would leave with her dead, but maybe he knows something about one of the other passengers or maybe he was trying to scare them away? What do you think about the NK possibly having a special ability and/or who he was aiming at?

A thought on Jesse and Jane

Re-watched season 2 last night. I just want to share my thought on here.

The story of Jesse and Jane, if they continued down the same path, might have turned out to be like Spooge (the junkie addict) and his wife. I think Spooge and his wife was a foreshadow of Jesse and Jane since Jane was introduced shortly after the Spooge story.

I think Spooge's son is like a son that Jesse never had. It shows as they were bonding and Jesse's concern over him.

Jesse and Jane's bittersweet story never meant to have a good ending. As Walt had said, they " wouldn't last a week with the money."

When Walt indirectly killed Jane, it freed Jesse from going down a path like Spooge.

[EVERYTHING] How do you feel about Elia Martell? Do you think she is looked over too much?

Reading the books, Elia Martell was one of my favourite characters, despite rarely making any appearances. Personally, I always felt extremely bad for her. She seemed like a kind and genuine person to me, and she had such a horrible fate. Not to mention her husband openly humiliating her in favour of Lyanna Stark. (That being said, I know what happened to Lyanna was horrible as well.) I could relate to Oberyn wanting to get revenge for his sister.

It feels like most people outside of Dorne have forgotten about Elia, or choose to ignore her. To some extent, I guess this extends to the fandom as well, but I'm not picky with that since each person is different.

If there is a part of her story I missed, or an event I misinterpreted, please do call me out.

Thoughts?

What's the deal with three eyed raven escorting him to the past where Ned, Benjen and Lyanna all present at Winterfell? And I believe they went back more than once afair? What is special about those visits, why do you think the raven insisted on that scene?

Just finished, thoughts.

So I just finished my first watch of the show, and I'm glad I finally did- I feel I was left out "of the know" of something by not watching it, no idea why it took me so long. So some thoughts:

Ted has to be one of the dumbest TV characters of all time- what part of Skyler's explanation did he not understand? She was pretty clear that he didn't have a choice if he wanted to avoid prison, it was almost unrealistically stupid.

Walt's journey to becoming truly a "bad guy" was amazing to watch. I love how Vince did this, instead of making him the anti-hero you root for until the end, he made him actually a bad and unlikable person, although I still found myself rooting for him at the end.

I liked Hank much more after season 3, its almost as if he was written to be smarter. Great characterization.

So, on to Better Call Saul!

That character's fate was a bit upsetting. (Not THAT character)

I don't mean Carl's death because that's obviously awful, but I mean Gavin.

He was one of the best written characters despite being barely on screen (no cliché quotes, actually has a personality - not just a typical asshole Saviour like 90%+ of them)

And then he just turns out to be a plot device, killed by a child who somehow managed to be unseen by all Ezekiel, Carol, Morgan and Gavin. Let's not even talk about how a 9 year old managed to pierce someone's throat from behind with a wooden stick

He's a plot device because his death will obviously impact Morgan's relationship with Henry, and Morgan's personality I guess.

Sad.

Chuck has electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS), but you can very clearly hear a clock ticking in his home in multiple episodes. Clocks run on either a battery or electricity, no?

Would this be a good idea?

I thought what if they did a complete reboot of the show? If there was a complete new story of new cooks. Nobody connected to the original story. Doesn't have anything to do with Heisenberg. A few years after where the original story ended. Maybe a few references to what happened. Just a complete reinvention. I think it would be a good idea.

[BOOKS] I'm listening to the audio version and I'm almost done with Book 1. (I'm caught up with the show.)

Just wondering at what point the books start to veer off a little bit from the show. I feel like I've seen posts on here that mention how there are certain things in the books that aren't done in the show, like Lady Stoneheart (RIP that's been book-spoiled for me), etc. There are a few minor characters in Book 1 that aren't cast in the show, but from what I've noticed Book 1 seems to be completely spot on with season 1. Not that I'm bored or anything, because I'm really enjoying listening. I'm just curious, without spoilers of course.

[EVERYTHING] What is (in your opinion) a valid criticism that you've seen defended as if it meant the end of the world?

So it's pretty common among book readers, but I consider A Feast For Crows (the 4th book, for those that haven't read them) to be the weakest of the five novels. The first three are so tightly written and focused, and Martin really started meandering in books 4 and 5, and due to that they feel very bloated. I feel that 5 is an improvement, but that's really not saying too much.

But I have been torn apart more than once for saying anything negative about this universe, and "how dare I insult the brilliance of GRRM", etc etc. I'm not pretending that I could ever so what he's done, because I can't. But I don't think that anyone can honestly say that book 4 is an improvement on what's come before it. I still love this world, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have room to improve.

What are some criticisms that you've had of the show or books that people have blindly defended, simply because it's part of ASOIAF? And I'm not talking about opinions based things, but things that you feel are valid flaws with the franchise.

Breaking Bad is a show that constantly makes you wonder "What if?"

One of the major themes in Breaking Bad is that actions have consequences and you may have to pay for those consequences. As such it's the type of show that constantly makes you wonder "What if?"

What if Walter had Saved Jane? What if Ted had paid the IRS so Skyler didn't have to bail him out? What if Todd didn't shoot the kid? What if Jesse hadn't tried to get revenge on those dealers for killing Combo?

These are the sorts of questions the show makes you ask.

Did Walt have any feelings or love at all for Jesse?

My mom and I have this debate a lot. Just wondering what others thought.

Did Walt care about Jesse at all or was he just an unfortunate pawn in Walt's game? He obviously detected that Jesse had a weak mind and could easily be manipulated.

But I am re-watching the series now and just watched the "Half Measures" episode where the episode ends with Walt hitting the drug dealers with his car and probably saving Jesse's life. But the very next episode, when he is trying to convince Jesse that they have to kill Gail, he says something like "I just saved your life Jesse. Aren't you going to save mine?"

And vice versa, I always felt as though Jesse, while he ended up hating getting mixed up with Walt, saw him (and later Mikel) as a father figure and no matter what always wanted to please him with their cooks. It was so sad and pathetic to me that the first person Jesse called after Jane died was Walt. And all of this was probably due to the fact that Jesse's own parents were douche bags.

Todd shoots the kid and it outraged most viewers. I feel he was in the right. He believed the mission was compromised with the witness. now I've taken a new view of this show after many rewatches. Let’s forget all the secret codes and this that and the other and let’s appreciate how much Bryan Cranston nailed this role.. there’s no other actor known to man kind who could have portrayed this character like he did. Today’s the day I admit that breaking bad is better than the sopranos.

So, why didn’t Jesse do...it?

Why do you think Jesse didn’t shoot and kill Walt at the end?

Was it to protect himself (Jesse)? Meaning, Jesse knows he’s not inherently a killer, and, throughout the season, he hadn’t adjusted well to all the death, murder, killing.

Was it sympathy or compassion for Walt?

Any good zombie games possibly in the same TWD universe?

TWD story video games don’t count. Does anyone have any good zombie games in which the universe and walkers are very similar to the walking dead?

In other words, what zombie video games are there in which the story or campaign could very well be in the same universe as TWD?

How fear the walking dead & walking dead will combine

Maddie’s group becomes the whisperers (zombie imitators how often these characters cover them self in walker blood) and eventually come into contact with Rick’s group and then the shows will merge and fans will have to decide which group their loyalty belongs and the shows creates the understanding that there is no good or evil - just loyalty and survival

People are getting mad for all the wrong reasons

Ive seen alot of people complaining about carls 180 shift from gunning down negans men in season 7 to wanting rick to make peace in season 8. I think people are getting it wrong though.

Carl doesnt want his dad to kill innocents. Carls argument is. "You cant kill everyone to solve your problems" Siddiq opened his eyes to that. Siddiq was a man who had nothing to do with the saviors. Just a man who needed some help. He talked about his mom to carl. So carl obviously felt a connection to this guy for that reason. Never from anything carl said to rick did i get a "you should spare negan dad." Carl has the same outlook on this war as rick. "Only one person needs to die." The only difference is that carl actually puts his words into action. While rick is shooting towards people who could possibly be completely innocent.

Thats just my two sense. I honestly think carls decision making is pretty realistic for a 15 year old boy. Now if only he could take down 3 walkers at a time. 😴

[BOOKS] Why didn't Stannis get rich off dragonglass?

In the books we know that dragonglass is traded as a commodity, usually as ceremonial pieces or jewelry. We also know that in the real world obsidian was extremely valuable in both artistic use, and as weapons, and obsidian and dragonglass are both the same thing. In A Clash of Kings and A Storm of Swords dragonglass is said to be traded as a valuable commodity, used in sword hilts, rings, eyepatches, and elaborate arches with obsidian flakes.

So, my question, is why didn't Stannis (who apparently had cliffs, boulders, and ledges of the stuff) not hire artisans, jewelers, and skilled craftsmen to work the obsidian into valued pieces of ceremonial or practical use (it IS stated to be sharper than steel) and sell them for a profit in Westeros, or even Essos. Stannis could've become extremely rich doing this. Was he simply uninterested in having craftsmen mill about dragonstone, or did he not realize the metaphorical goldmine beneath his feet?

Comic Spoilers: How could Kirkman forget such a awesome character!

In issue 72 we are introduced to the adorable character Barbara at the party in Alexandria. Barbara disappears after the meeting at the church after Glenn's death. There are two possible times were Barbara could have died, The Alexandria Bombing and the Battle at Hilltop. I believe she died at neither but she a child (or children we do not know). This broke Barbara and her husband (not confirmed), this caused them to flee and set out to find some place new to escape the past. On the road her husband died but it was not for nothing as she found a place in Ohio. She would talk to her dead family on a radio like Rick with the phone until one day she made contact Eugene. To keep her identity hidden she changed her name and dyed her hair before Eugene came to Ohio. This is why "Stephanie" didn't answer to Siddiq as he wasn't in Alexandria during her time there and with the conflict Alexandria was going through she was not sure to trust him or not, it also explains how she was so fast to trust Rick. If anyone has any ideas or proof of what happened to Barbara please tell me. <3

Comic Spoilers: What storylines did Daryl "steal"?

Daryl was/is one of my favorite characters in TWD TV series, and from the moment I entered the comic fandom I've seen comic fans who hate Daryl because he "steals" storylines from other characters. And I honestly don't think Daryl has stolen any major storyline... yet.

Yes, Daryl has been Rick's right-hand man in the show which has prevented characters like Tyresse and Abraham from occupying that role. But that isn't really a major storyline or facet of the story. Abraham and Tyresse are still strong characters on their own.

The only significant moment I can think of Daryl replacing a major comic character in is in S4 during the confrontation with the Claimers, which is a remix from the moment in the comics.

By no means am I a blind Daryl fanboy, I admit his character has been ruined these past 2 seasons. I'm honestly curious about what storylines people think Daryl "stole" from other characters. Thanks for any replies!

Tell me some inconsistencies you see in TWD

So I was brainstorming about how the zombies have degraded and became less intelligent over time, and it had me thinking..

What other inconsistencies have you guys seen throughout the show? Things that have changed or don't make sense since the show has started.

Daryl Theories

They really are promoting the shit out of Daryl in ads and that one "worst damn nightmare" line he has aren't they? I mean he barely has any reason or interesting plot right now. But I have seem the episode summary and alot of it revolves around Daryl as well. It;s the midseason episode so something earth shattering has to happen to him right? So what?

Is this just twd as usual appealing to fan service or is it foreshadowing some bigger revelation for Daryl for the midseason episode and beyond? Is Daryl gonna screw himself yet again with his ridiculous arrogance and then somehow escape or is he about to die?

Bojack Horseman has one of televisions greatest intros.

It’s such a great intro, it captures the essence of everything really well. Reminds me of Californiacation and the fact that the show is used in a few background gags is great. It’s crazy that an animated show is able to capture the feeling this well. Also have to mention how perfect the music is.

[Everything] If you were in Cersei's position, what would your strategy be?

I think that people criticizing Cersei's strategy at the end of Season 7 don't realize that Dany is as big a threat to her as the army of the undead. Cersei gets no credit for helping Dany and Jon defeat the Night King. Her life is in danger as long as Dany is still alive. So what would you advise Cersei to do to defeat Dany?

Personally, I think that she should have ordered the Lannister armies North and pretended to help but secretly ordered her men to assassinate both Dany and Jon in the middle of the battle. That sounds like something Tywin would do.

Just started Ozark. Holy fuck it’s good.

So I’ve seen this show floating around Netflix for a while now. Tonight I finally decided to check it out and after watching the first episode I gotta say it went far beyond my expectations. It pretty much feels like a gloomier version of Breaking Bad. The concept is pretty cool. The characters are also great. Not only is Marty Byrd a great character so far but Jason Bateman flaunts some excellent acting. He’s sort of a cold asshole but you understand him and you understand why he does what he does; similar to the Walter White. Everyone’s pretty well written including the wife and the daughter. The writing itself is also pretty damn good and I liked the directing. It wasn’t anything crazy but pretty neat. I’m really excited to see where the show goes.

Why do they put guns in the HF acid?

When they first used it, Jesse put like 3 guns in the tub. I thought maybe he did this to get rid of evidence, but the guns weren’t even used to kill him, one of them was owned by Jesse prior to anything. Still, I thought nothing of it. Then when they did it again in season 4 I thought maybe something was up.

Metastasis is a much better title than Breaking Bad!

Anyone else agree? For those who don't know, Metastasis was the title given to the Spanish adaptation of Breaking Bad.

Let me preface this by saying I'm not dissing BB. It's arguably the best TV drama of all time and one of my personal favorites.

But Metastasis works better as a title, thematically, I think, because it touches on the story's core theme of transformation and it ties back to Walt's cancer as the original catalyst for his transformation. Plus it sounds more like chemistry terminology. I've personally always preferred titles with 1) multiple meanings and 2) thematic relevance rather than just narrative relevance. [For instance, First Blood is a much better title than Rambo or John Rambo; and The Distance might've been a better title for the first Rocky movie but we probably wouldn't have gotten a whole series under that name. Not without a name change like The Distance: Rocky, Part 2 anyhow!]

Anyway, I've rambled long enough. Thoughts?

Is Breaking Bad actually the best TV Series ever created?

An year ago this day, I started binging Breaking Bad. And then I binged it in 5 days! I didn't want to, but each episode, each dialogue, each character in the show gave me a million reasons to watch it. I've from then, moved on, binged almost 50 TV series after that and yet, still I have not found a single show that could match the amazing plot Breaking Bad has. Even its counterpart, its spin-off, Better Call Saul couldn't match the storyline of Breaking Bad although it gave a good nostalgic reason for me to keep watching it. I ask this question to myself everyday. "Will there be ever a great show like Breaking Bad?"
