In season 4 Martinez tells the governor that Shumpert is dead, but his death appears off screen and we just have to take Martinez at his word.
Everyone(including myself) thinks the “D.S.” Tape in Althea’s collection is going to be Daniel Salazar, but what if Shumpert didn’t die like Martinez said and he lied for some reason and it turns out his first name starts with D? As far as I know he never got a first name, I assume Shumpert was his last.
Would anyone be super surprised?
I still think Salazar is the odds on favorite, followed by we all read too much into it, followed by Shumpert.
Anyone else read anything into those tapes (besides “Abe & Dr”)?
