It's pretty much the exact same story line too.
They are all split up, getting an episode or two to focus on each of them and their story on their "road to terminus" storyline we're getting.
Everyone eventually is going to find the boxes and follow them to the same point and meet up. The person who they stole the trucks from will be equivalent to the claimers of S4. The group that's hunting our main characters down. Then by the end of the season they'll come across a nice looking group who turns out to be evil.
