Personally I think TWD needs to end. Even if it stayed good a didn't go to shit everything good needs to end. It can't just go on forever, nor should it. But if AMC really wants to keep it going a little while longer I'd love to see TWD go back to focusing on a kid growing up in the apocalypse and I think that should be Judith. She won't really remember Rick much but I would love to see her grow up in a new world that her brother and father created for her. Have her be the next protagonist in a way. That way it still follows the comic route of Carl taking over but with her instead. Maybe down the line years into the future they could jump ahead in time and have her be the next leader of Alexandria. Since they are keeping Gracie around I could also see some cool future conflict between Gracie and Judith. With Judith's father being the one that killed Gracies father. Can you imagine that? Again, it should and needs to end. But if they keep going I'd like to see that. That'd be their way of somewhat fixing the fuck up that was Carl's death. And that way the Grimes family legacy can still live on.
