Throughout the series it is showcased multiple times that bastards are extremely disliked and treated as scum and I was wondering why? Why hate the child when it’s not even their fault? Shouldn’t all the blame fall on the cheating parent? And if so have there been any repercussions on these parents because so far I have not seen any punishments for those who participate in infidelity.
