This subreddit (and fans of BB in general) seem to have a lot of hate for Skyler.
I’m on my (4th?) rewatch now, and every time I rewatch it, I grow sadder and sadder for Skyler. She is a caring mom who is suddenly married to a criminal who lies and lies and lies. I’m specifically watching S2 E4 right now, and the long shot of her face as Walt goes on and on about how his second cell phone ringing MUST have been his alarm, is just heartbreaking to me. She is such a genuine and loving wife, and in return she’s just lied to again and again and the worst part is that she knows it. You can see it in her face.
I just feel for her. Every time I rewatch this show I hate Walt more and deeply sympathize with Skyler more.
EDIT: She did cheat later on, I kind of forgot about that when I made this post, she isn’t a total saint, but I mostly am talking about her in the first two seasons. And I still think Walt cooking meth and everything he did is far worse. You can’t compare her cheating to what he was doing.
