One thing I find interesting is each of the characters has a more extreme version of them

Jeremiah is a more extreme version of Madison. They both are manipulative and ruthless. Jeremiah is just a lot more hateful when drunk.

Troy is a more extreme version of Nick. They are both addicts in a way. Troy is addicted to killing and fighting while Nick was addicted to drugs.

Jake is a more is extreme version of Alicia. They both are the “perfect child” and are usually more responsible. They are also slightly weaker than their sibling. Jake just didn’t really change as much as Alicia did.

Martha is a more extreme version of Morgan. That storyline and hose characters are horribly written but it’s true. Morgan was a killer and didn’t help people at first. Martha is also a killer who doesn’t help people. You can tell that they were trying to do what the last season did with the Clarks but failed.
