S2. Episodes were the best scripted of the series

As I am rewatching the first seasons for the fourth time, I have come to this conclusion.

I absolutely love how Hershel can become a god fearing man and then changed by the fact that his dead wife tried to kill Beth.

I love that Shane went dark and shot Otis in the leg to save himself and Carl (for Lori, not Rick obviously.)

I love that Dale got so super facinated with Andrea and was so good at reading people, but yet forgot about the biggest threat. (Zombie who gutted him.)

I love how Carl got shot and then decided that God doesn't exist and antagonized a zombie.

I love how Carol transformed from pitiful useless abused mom to someone who had some strength and wisdom after Sophia's fate was revealed.

I love how Darryl is always the hardass but paused his worry for his brother for Sophia, and then saw Merle (the vision awoke and also saved his ass.)

I love how T-Dogg could take so much from Merle and still tried with everything to save his ass.

I love that Rick can forgive Lori and get over her sleeping with Shane.

The farm overrun scene was my personal favorite few episodes, as someone who has seen every season to date.

I love rewatching the first few seasons as it is nostalgic. Just wanted to share how much I love the second season.
