Possible Ending To FTWD (COMIC SPOILERS!!!)

LAST CHANCE IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO AVOID SPOILERS FROM THE WALKING DEAD COMIC!!!!

Given that everyone seems to hate the way the story is going on Fear The Walking Dead, I thought it might be cool to think about how the show could eventually end. Recently i finished the Walking Dead Comics, and noticed an interesting note about where the FTWD crew is situated during the zombie apocalypse.

At the conclusion of the comics we discover that not only has a considerable safe zone been created in the Eastern United States, to the point that it covers entire sections of the country, but that Eugene from TWD has been able to get train travel up and running again. So much so that tracks were being laid so that the settlements in the East could be connected w/ those in the West. The name given for the survivors in the West was, "The Western Alliance."

Now through the course of FTWD's story we've learned about two very large groups that could possibly be a part of this Western Alliance. In season 3 The Proctors held a huge amount of territory b/t Texas and Mexico, possessed a large and well supplied army that possessed several large waystations and outposts, and had plans to expand even further up and down the West Coast. Then at the conclusion of this past season we were introduced to a group known as The Pioneers. We're not entirely sure of this groups intentions, and the depth of their resources, but we do know that know they're the only active kids on the block w/ a reliable gasoline supply, they're producing enough food to keep their main body of troops fed as well as their outposts, and they possess a large military arm.

Do you think by the end of the series these groups along w/ whatever other groups are out there will become the Western Alliance? Perhaps Rick Grimes adventures will bring him into contact w/ one of these groups, and that will lead him into the now canon Walking Dead ending where he reunites w/ everyone once the trains start running both ways?

Thoughts?
