Fun fact : Breaking Bad in Google Maps

In Google Maps : if you go to Albequerque map and search for "Breaking Bad" , it will show almost all landmarks where the series was shot , like the car wash , Saul's office and even Walter White's home . Picture

I found one interesting thing :

When you search for Los Pollos Hermanos , it shows the wrong location in the world man-made islands in Dubai . This is the correct location . Actually the restaurant's name is "Twisters Burgers & Burritos" ,but the name was changed in B.Bad & BCS .

https://maps.app.goo.gl/WyByZ2SD6GAaV8mE7

There are also bus tours specifically planned to visit these landmarks (in case you are planning to visit Albequerque one day)

Although I'm not American and haven't been to the US before, I really enjoyed it !

Edit :

Hank Schrader's House : https://maps.app.goo.gl/wGevjJ2Y1T6susBs6

Gus' Laundry (where the mega meth lab used to be) : https://maps.app.goo.gl/hTqmRYX7Pvc8wsLRA

[SPOILERS] How Season 8 should have ended.

I recently re-watched the show during quarantine and I wanted to share with you some thoughts I wrote at the time about the finale, since I wasn't on reddit then.

HOW SHOULD HAVE SEASON 8 ENDED

"First give it two more full seasons so things don't get rushed. I actually liked most of the plot points of the finale (Dany goes mad after losing everything and Jon has to kill her to save the Seven Kingdoms is a perfect ending for their arcs), but everything was so rushed that none of the characters choices made sense. We should've seen Jon and Dany relationship develop more, while at the same time the work around her crumbles and she descends into tyranny.

The biggest problem was D&D refusing those extra two seasons HBO was willing to give.

Jon killing Dany, the biggest climax of the whole show, was supposed to be the toughest decision of his life, not only because she was his queen and he's a man of honor, but because he was supposed to be genuinely in love with her.

But what happened is he bent the knee, had sex with her and found out they're related in literally three episodes (7x06 - 8x01), so we never actually saw them happy for long, so why are we supposed to care about their relationship drama?

Whilst, for example, the Jon/Ygritte arc developed through three seasons, from the time they meet (2x06) until he burns her body beyond the wall (4x10).

And the same goes for pretty much every plot point this season. This could've ended exactly this way and be brilliant, if only they took the time to develop what happened.

Also, it's a bad move from the showrunners not to give future plot points away to their actors. That really can change a performance for the better.

It's one thing to withhold unexpected twists. Richard Madden didn't need to know about Robb's death (even though it was in the books), because it was set in motion by events outside the character.

Michael McElhatton, on the other hand, needed to know it, to play his Roose Bolton true to his character, even if he couldn't display it externally.

Nikolaj is a wonderful actor, as are Lena Headey and Gwendoline Christie, and the showrunners were lucky they could carry that arc as well as they did.

But I'm sure if Nikolaj knew Jaime would go back to Cersei as soon as she was in danger, he would've played his scenes with Lena in season 7 a little different, which could validate him coming back.

But alas D&D were going for the shock factor, including shocking their actors, which unfortunately means they're not getting their whole arc to work with.

Take Sean Bean for example: once you find out about Jon's parentage and the fact that Bean knew all along, you can really see all the subtle hints on Ned's face in his scenes with Jon and Robert.

But D&D clearly didn't plan ahead and I'm pretty sure the only plot points GRRM gave them was J=L+R, "Dany goes full on Mad Queen" and probably who ends in power.

They basically admited that when they said Arya killing the NK was decided like three years ago and her whole blue eyes conversation with Melisandre was pure coincidence!

And speaking of J=L+R, Jon Snow being Lyanna and Rhaegar's son was the most useless fact of the show. It amounted to literally nothing.

This was supposed to be the biggest mystery of the saga, the only thing GRRM asked D&D and the reason he handed them the show.

And yet, at the end, Jon could've been the son of Maester Pycelle and Old Nan and the outcome would've been exactly the same. Does anyone in that council even knows the true, besides the Stark Siblings and Tyrion?

What happened to those letters Varys was writing? Did Drogon burned all them crows?

And you're telling me Howland Reed, the head of a major House loyal to House Stark, a personal friend of Ned Stark who almost died for him and his sister, the man who sent his only children to protect Bran, the ONLY PERSON ALIVE who was with Ned when Jon was born and carried the secret with him, you're telling me now he doesn't really care about Jon, the North Independence, the Stark kids and a Targaryen torching down the capital he fought to conquer?

Casual show watchers probably won't care about him, but world building and history as always been the best part of ASOIAF and D&D completely sidelined that in favor of f'ing Bronn making brothel jokes.

With that said, everything that happened post- Jon killing Dany was absolute non-sense. And this is where I would really change things.

"Seeing his Mother dead, Drogon goes on a grieving rage and burns the Throne Room. Jon included. Flames everywhere. The Iron Throne melts. Jon Snow burned alive. Or is he? Suddenly, through the fire, comes Jon Snow, aka Aegon Targaryen, naked (mirroring Daenerys at the end of season 1, reborn from the flames). This is where his heritage comes into play. Drogon knows "fire cannot kill dragon" so he turns his back on Naked Jon/Aegon, takes Daenerys body and flies away. As he leaves, we see Grey Worm at the door, who just realized what happened. Grey Worm and Naked Jon/Aegon have an epic fight amongst the flames in the Throne Room, and Naked Jon/Aegon ends up killing him, not without giving him a chance to surrender first (he's a good guy after all). But... SHOCK! Grey Worm managed to stab Naked Jon/Aegon. A bleeding, fatally wounded Naked Jon/Aegon leaves the Throne Room and is assisted by Davos (mirroring season 6, when Jon Snow comes back to life, naked, and falls into Davos arms). "What have you done?!", Davos shouts. Naked Jon/Aegon asks for Arya. She arrives. "I was brought back for a reason... And now my watch has ended." Naked Jon/Aegon dies in Arya's arm, who cries over her brother's body. This scene is intercut with scenes of Ghost, still in Winterfell, howling. Cut to Bran, in the Godswood, hearing Ghost and realizing what happened. He's emotionless. Cut to Sansa, in the Great Hall, sheding a single tear, also realizing what happened. Cut to the Godswood again but now Bran's chair is empty. The camera lingers on the Old Tree, suggesting that now that the world is safe at last, he officially became the Three Eyed Raven and merged with the tree (like the 3ER before him). Cut again to Arya holding Dead Naked Jon/Aegon, and then Drogon crossing the Narrow Sea, with Daenerys, arriving to Essos, her true home, to bury her. Some time later Tyrion assembles a Council Meeting to decide who will rule the Seven Kingdoms. Since the last Targaryen are dead, so should the Seven Kingdoms, which were united by the Aegon the Conqueror. Therefore it's only fit to break them apart after the death of the last Aegon. The wheel was broken. The North will be ruled by Sansa Stark; the Iron Islands will be ruled by Yara Greyjoy; The Westerlands will be ruled by Tyrion Lannister; The Reach will be ruled by Samwell Tarly; the Stormlands will be ruled by Gendry Baratheon; Dorne will be ruled by whomever is there already; and Dragonstone will be given to Davos Seaworth. Arya sails west anyway, to new adventures. Brienne becomes Queensguard to Sansa, fulfilling her oath to Catelyn until the end. The show ends with a raven (is it Bran?) flying over Westeros, watching each Kingdom try to rebuild itself after the horrors of the war, sort of like a live-action version of the opening credits. The raven then goes beyond the abandoned wall, we see the wildings, Tormund, Ghost... The raven keeps flying north, where there's pretty much nothing more than darkness. As the screen starts fading to black, we see two blue eyes. THE END."

And it fucking sucks. I’m starting up 4x02 and I have way too many questions to keep track of. I’ve heard that the show gets worse as it progresses, but seriously what the hell is this? It’s extremely different from what came before, and feels like a brand new show. Does this season get any better?

The Muppets (2015) appreciation thread

So before this week the only thing I knew about the muppets 2015 was that

a) it was cancelled after 1 season

b) it was a mockumentary style show

Even though I'm a big Muppet fan that was enough for me to stay away until after I finished every tv show/movie in existence due to quarantine. And I gotta tell you, it's not bad. Id even dare to say, good.

The muppet gang is all there and bursting with charisma and the characters work really well together. Having a lot of the season center around Miss Piggy becoming a better person is great and they don't really make a big deal of it either, it just kinda happens. Pairing Gonzo up with Rizzo and Pepe rather then the other main characters was also a good call, allowing him to have more scenes and characterization. Unexpectedly a lot of the laughs came from Janice, which is a character I normally don't like. Fozzie had a girlfriend!!

Shame this got cancelled and soiled the brand past recovery. That new Elmo show coming out would've been much better with the Muppets

Rewatching Breaking Bad

I'm currently on my quarantine rewatch of Breaking Bad and just started the 3rd season. In my opinion, Better Call Saul is the superior show. In my nostalgia I would have argued that Better Call Saul would undisputably be second to Breaking Bad because, well, that's the original and it wouldn't even exist without it. However, the character development, the pacing, the drama, the camera work, the coloring, the dialogue and again the character development is so so so much better. Breaking Bad's pace is so much faster and I prefer that slow burn of Better Call Saul.

PS. I HATE Skyler and I don't remember hating her so much in my first time watching.

For me, it would be the finale of How I Met your mother or the last season of Chuck.

While I did hate the last seasons of the office, it’s not on my list bc it’s different enough from the rest of the show that it didn’t ruin it for me, I just didn’t enjoy watching it.

Damn. What an episode. Probably one of the best ever. when I watched this, I hated Lizzie but felt so sorry for Carol. But now rewatching, I just feel really sorry for Lizzie. This world warped her brain at such a young age. She probably had some mental illness prior to the apocalypse, but afterwards, she had no chance. Felt much more sorry for Lizzie this time. There was no other way around it but to kill her, but WOW. Amazing writing, and amazing acting by Melissa McBride and by the little girl who played Lizzie!

Originally, I had no interest whatsoever in The Walking Dead. In fact, I'm still not planning to watch the show. Then I've started to watch some Telltale Games, before having a look at The Walking Dead and ultimately dedicing to buy the whole game series.

As for the comics, I'm am around the moment Rick and the others stumbled upon a few survivors in the Meriwether prison after taking out a shitload of walkers. That's apparently where Lee Everett, Vince and the others were supposed to go.

Do you guys think they would have survived if they managed to arrive during the outbreak?

It is absolutely insane to me that Hannibal aired on network television

I just finished "Hannibal" and it's incredible. The performances are phenomenal and visually it's stunning. Both stunning in how it looks, but also in what it shows. How in the fuck did this air on NBC? How did the network not receive enormous backlash from every Christian entity in the U.S.? It has some of the most disturbing, disgusting visuals I've ever seen. The gore is easily on par with the best horror.

Minor spoilers ahead but...

This fucking guy slices off pieces of his face and feeds it to a bunch of dogs while giggling, and then slices off his own nose and eats it. I felt physically ill while watching it. And those kinds of extreme, graphic displays are featured in almost every episode. I can just imagine my grandmother flipping through channels 8 years ago and seeing a woman with her chest cavity open, rib cage splayed, and antlers embedded in her forehead.

It's fantastic.

I really can't believe it. Has there ever been a show with this level of gore on one of the big networks before or since? Insane. You can't show a ladies nipple but you can show a corpse with mushrooms growing out of every orifice.

Anyway, a 10/10 show imo. The whole series is on Amazon Prime (U.S.). Highly recommend it if you want to be utterly disgusted.

Edit: Fixed a word.

MTV should have moved all their reality tv to MTV2 and went back to classic Music Television during this whole lockdown/quarantine period. People would have LOVED that shit.

Its not like they would run out of content either. They have 30 years of absolute nonsense to dish out. Ditch everything and go back to music videos and ridiculous music specials. They would have the highest viewed channel because people are bored out of their minds at home and it would be such a throwback. Between old and new content they would never even have to repeat a thing. It would be wild.

How old are the characters supposed to be?

PLEASE NO SPOILERS;

So, due to quarantine, I’ve been rewatching TWD. I never made it past season 6 but I will this time.

I’m on season 4, episode 2 and this question has been creeping. Carol and Daryl obviously had a nice bromance/romance?? And then Beth and Daryl have a lil bromance/romance?? I’ve seen comics of Beth and Daryl after Beth dies of which I don’t know the story.

However, I know that Beth is 17, but the actress who portrays her is in her 30’s. I thought Norman Reedus was in his 40’s playing Daryl who was in his early 30’s.

Either way, I tried to google and there are no answers. It just keeps telling me how old the viewers are. Anyone with the comic book knowledge/more knowledge than I have know?

Thank you!

[SPOILERS] A theory on the symbols the Night King leaves behind.

[Spoiler]A theory on the symbol the Night King leaves behind.

I’m doing a rewatch of the show and I’m currently on the final season.

So earlier in the show when Jon and Mance make their way to the fist of the first men, the night king had left a bunch of horse parts which made up the symbol.

Later on when Bran is beneath the Great Weirwood tree, he is able to see how the Night King was created, if you pay attention to the rock formation where he was created, the rocks are scattered about and they make up that same symbol.

We then see the symbol again in season 8 when the Umber boy is impaled into the wall.

Well my theory on what this symbol is, is that since the Night King was once human, it’s safe to say he belonged to a house, or a family. Well what do houses and families use to display who they are and who they fight for? A house sigil.

What if once the Night King became the Night King, he decided to use that symbol from the stones where he was created as his house sigil. He created his own house and took this for his sigil and the dead are the family that this sigil represents.

I literally just had this thought while seeing the Umber boy impaled on the wall. I’m not sure if this idea had been floated on here before or not. I haven’t kept up with theories or anything in quite some time. I just figured I’d share this thought and see what you all think.

I put the spoiler tag just in case people haven’t seen the show or all of it. Jon being with Mance at the fist is kind of a spoiler, bran and seeing how the night king was created is kind of a spoiler as well as the Umber boy dying is kind of a minor spoiler too.

[No Spoilers] how much sex (and assault) is actually in this show?

I’ve never seen GoT. But my fiancé loves the show, and I want to watch it with him. But I personally get uncomfortable watching gratuitous sex scenes (and sexual assaults), especially when it’s just their for shock/sex appeal.

But I want to see the show. Everyone talks about how great it is. Although I hear a lot of mixed reviews now that the show is over. And I know there’s a fair bit of sexual abuse that was added into the show that wasn’t in the books

Anyway, I hear a lot about how it’s so good but so graphic. So how graphic is it really? Are people being dramatic? Or is it like some people have said and its just soft porn with a plot line?

I’m trying to expand my media consumption but just want to be kind of prepared before taking a full dive

[No Spoilers] Rose Leslie (Ygritte) was raised in a castle & has the surname "Leslie" from her female line because of the Leslie Clan

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rose_Leslie#Early_life_and_ancestry

I find this amusing because a GoT actor is a real-life example of complicated noble lineage can be, in particular how caste takes precedence over the usual rules (the choice to use a hyphenated last name "Arbuthnot-Leslie" in the 19th century probably wasn't due to feminism.)

The story itself works this way, such as how Lysa takes the Arryn name after marrying Jon, but of course doesn't take the surname Baelish.

She's also a 7th-cousin of husband Kit Harrington, which is great. That's probably a further relation than most marriages, but still a weird thing to have to know.

The amount of amazing performances in "Waco" is unreal.

Taylor Kitsch, Michael Shannon, Paul Sparks, Melissa Benoist, Andrea Riseboroug, Rory Culkin and Julia Garner... They all deserve a ton of recognition for the performances they put into this show.

That being said, Shea Whigham blew me away. He always does, now that I think about it. I hated him, and then I sympathized with him to the point I nearly cried.

Such a good show, and incredible heavy. I can't really believe it hasn't been more popular, but it's on Netflix now and you should check it out.

Just noticed some ridiculously subtle foreshadowing in the episode 4 Days Out

I would post a screenshot, but I’m not able to take one in the Netflix app, it just comes up black. But anyway, around 3/4 of the way through the episode, Walt and Jesse come up with the plan to build a battery; Walt sits down looking through their chemicals and Jesse goes off to gather shit. Then it transitions to a shot of the sky, and you see one airplane go by, and then a second one. Their cloud trails “intersect” on screen as both fly by, you know, without colliding midair. Such an incredibly subtle bit of foreshadowing for the crash that comes at the end of the season

Euphoria's soundtrack is unlike anything I've heard before

A few weeks ago I finished HBO's Euphoria, which I'm sure many of you have either seen or heard about. It definitely something else. Everything about it - the cinematography, the acting, the costumes - is new and quite incredible. The soundtrack, however, is absolutely unbelievable. I don't know how to describe it - like a chaotic intertwining of techno and classical. Labrinth absolutely went above and beyond in making the score completely match whats on screen in what I can only describe as a beautiful cacophony. I think the soundtrack is on Spotify if you want to give it a listen. Both the instrumental and the vocal pieces are really great. Even if you don't like the sort of hip hop/pop-genre the music pertains to, its still incredibly creative and nuanced.

so i just started reading the comics this month

i’m currently on chapter 9, so try not to spoil it for me. i always knew that there were differences between the show and the comics, but now reading it, there’s some that actually got me by surprise:

  • no Daryl, Merle, or Beth (really like them)
  • Rick losing his hand was savage af
  • Sophia is alive and “dating” Carl
  • Tyreese actually being an important character and his daughter as well
  • Andrea/ Michonne/ Governor arc from the show is completely different
  • Bald Glenn (it is really weird)
  • Hershel being a complete asshole
  • Tyreese fucking Carol and cheating with Michonne, like, what?? lol
  • Carol’s suicide

Season 4 Meh

The life/joy/storytelling drain that is Morgan is here and I already feel like I want to switch off. This is a slow meandering start, with flashbacks and hallucinations or some shit. The usual. I've been binging the show and I can only imagine the horror for fans who had to wait week to week or in this case months only to see that dullard. More shots of his feet now. Trudging along like the episode. I miss Madison, Nick, Alicia, Daniel, Walker, the dastardly dog and especially Victor. I can't wait to see them again, I hope I do. I don't want to see Proctor John, he was irritating. Anyway Morgan is back with the gun toting Rick lite so I'll keep watching and see if it picks up...

I understood the Negan shooting the window scene TODAY

OMG I realized right now that Rick say the broken windows theory and some episodes later when Negan is in Alexandria he takes a gun and SHOOT A FUCKING WINDOW That's awesome because it's basically showing in a more poetic way that Rick's world is broken

[SPOILERS] Trying to find a fan made series of characters and their backgrounds.

I remember there used to be a series (not a wiki) that somebody made who would post weekly(?) about characters and their whole story. There was one about Tywin, Stannis, Rhaegar, Aegon the conqueror, Brynden Rivers, etc. It was well written and I remember the site had like a medieval style to it. Hoping you guys can help me find it!

How and why do you think these two show runners were hired in the first place?

Like where the hell did they find these guys? Literally they have nothing remotely like ftwd under their belt. Like did Gimple specifically hate this show so much he wanted it to die anyway possible. Like it literally baffles me. I just need these two buffoons to get fired or “step down” already.

I love how Lalo is an antagonist for all of our characters.

Usually with villains, they only correspond with certain characters. Such as how Chuck and somewhat Howard (back in season 1) were antagonists for Jimmy but Jimmy only. Or how Hector was the antagonist for Mike. But with Lalo, every single character on the show is worrying about Lalo. We have Jimmy and Kim who are now on his target list, then Mike has to worry about him, Gus, and now Nacho is on the list. That just goes to show how big of a villain Lalo is, that every character on the show has to worry about him that’s honestly badass and just shows how big of a villain Lalo is.

What We Do in the Shadows Season 2 is three episodes in, and just as good, if not better, than the first season.

The jokes are completely on point, and they've had some great cameos so far like Benedict Wong, Haley Joel Osment, and Craig Robinson. Guillermo is continuing his storyline from last season, and the three vampires are still getting up to hijinks. I'm really surprised there hasn't been much chatter on this sub about it yet. It's a fantastic show.

Unpopular Opinion: Aaron and Jesus

I'm kind of glad that the show didn't pursue the whole "any two gay characters should end up together" vibe. I understand that there was a dash of chemistry between them, but in any other context, it's just bromance. I know everyone was so excited for the only two gay characters left to blossom into each other's arms and whatever, but if we're going to add things like Beth's death (which I'm still mad about) to make the show seem real, then I guess we gotta keep with it. Just to clarify, I do not oppose LGBTQ+ romance in the media in any way, it was simply refreshing that a show would only allow people to be together if they found them compatible as partners and not just friends.

while we wait for 10x16, tell me what’s your fav and least fav season and why

here’s mine:

Fav: Season 3 - I just love the idea of being in a prison to survive, that location gave a lot of possibilities for the season. The Governor was such an interesting and crazy villain while also being a charismatic character. Michonne.

Least Fav: Season 6 - Might be alone on this one but hear me out. The Wolves arc was completely wasted as it didn’t really change anything. That plan of moving the zombies in 6A was dumb in so many levels. Glenn fake death was honestly so unimportant to the story. Negan’s introduction was kinda shit, specially at the time with that cliffhanger. No Way Out was a sick ep tho.

Hope y’all don’t downvote me :)

Rewatching this after a few years and I've noticed a pretty big plot hole

That trick where they can just cover themselves in walker guts and not be bothered? They could literally do that to solve or prevent like 90% of their problems. I wish that concept was never introduced tbh. Because it's disgusting to watch yet 100% effective and avoids half their issues.

Season 6 & 7 not that bad??

First time watcher. Okay so other than some truly UNNECESSARY and BRUTAL deaths of many favorite characters(still recovering from one of Negan’s more prolific kills), I’m really enjoying season 6 & 7. I mean the vibe is certainly different but I don’t get all the hate these two seasons have had? I mean 6 had a bit of a lull towards the end, but the finale and into 7 have been really entertaining to me. So for those who don’t like these two seasons, and more specifically 7 (I sorta understand the season 6 hate), why do you hate this season and which one is your fav?

[SPOILERS] The Better Call Saul finale did something I thought was impossible

It made me root for, and actually feel bad for, Lalo Salamanca.

After Kim's whole spiel to him about not having anyone to trust (which clearly got to him), the one person he decides to let in and legitimately go to bat for (with Eladio) as a friend, not only betrays him, but gets his entire extended family killed -- people who, by the way, seemed like sweet country folk who really hadn't done anything bad to anyone.

That episode was probably the most human we've ever seen Lalo. Just him chilling in his estate with people he loves. No deceit or simmering malice under his words -- just him legitimately contented and taking a moment to breathe. Him bringing Ignacio there is also symbolic of him essentially "adding" Nacho to his family and saying "Hey, you're like a brother to me now." That's made even more explicitly clear when he tells Nacho jokingly that he's "halfway to becoming a Salamanca", and by his worried expression when Nacho is talking to Eladio. He was genuinely concerned for Nacho there.

So for all that to blow up in his face (especially when he decides to do something genuinely kind for Nacho) is kind of heartbreaking -- even though the guy's a murderous cartel figurehead.

I'm still rooting for Nacho all the way, but the way all this has gone down doesn't feel triumphant at all. I think we all wanted to see Nacho take down Lalo after he'd done something horrible. I didn't want it to go down like this with innocent bystanders in the crossfire, and Lalo heartbroken and filled with rage after genuinely trying to do something nice for once.

The irony is that if Nacho hadn't done this, I think his father would've been genuinely out of danger. Hector's in no condition to issue hits, Tuco's in jail/doesn't care, the cousins legitimately respect Nacho after he fought alongside them, and Lalo had started treating Nacho like a real friend/confidant.

The whole time we all thought Lalo was secretly on to Nacho, but turns out he really did like and trust the guy. At this point, I actually want to see Lalo get his revenge on Gus.

The Calm Before broke me today

I had yet to work through season 9 before our current pandemic... Just watched ep 15 with my girlfriend. The hits just kept coming, and my stomach feels like it's inside out... Carol's face is forever etched in my memories. And the highwaymen are my boys for life. Viva my girl Tara. I'm not sure I even want to watch the series anymore...

I've already told myself that if (in order of importance to me) Dog, Daryl, Aaron, Jerry, Judith, Zeke, Carol, or Eugene are killed off, I'm done with TWD

I'm an almost 30 year old man and the only other time this series has made me cry was the back-to-back Beth and Tyrese debacle, where I wept hot, silent tears as my housemates slept.

Can't wait to see S10 to see if some whisperer ass is kicked and or otherwise maimed...

Rick and Daryl’s relationship is one of the best on television.

I’m rewatching and just finished season four. I absolutely love the scene near the end of the finale when Rick realizes that the people in Terminus have gear that belongs to his friends. Once he realizes this, he instantly grabs their guide and pulls a gun on him. The part I love about this scene is Daryl’s reaction. As soon as Rick does this, Daryl instantly draws his crossbow on the closest person to him. No questions asked. And of course earlier in this same episode Rick calls Daryl his brother. The two of them were great. I hope that Norman and Andrew are as close off screen as they are on.

If you're rereading the comics, you owe it to yourself to play The Walking Dead: Michonne

Preferably right before issue 139 to tie right back into the comics. Such a great story revolving around one of the best characters in the franchise.

Call me crazy but I actually really like 4B

I didn’t like 4A because I knew Madison was gonna be dead in a stupid fucking way and I was just dreading the time it actually happened

4B is just nice to watch because (as unrealistic as it is) I like seeing them help people and I agree with Morgan’s morals and that he has a lot to make up for.

I know I am in the extreme minority but I still feel this show is worth watching and it is not nearly as bad as people say it is

[SPOILERS] arya and syrio forel

I just had a random thought. Wouldn’t it be awesome if syrio forel actually survives when he dies. And then later on when arya goes back to winterfell she reunited with him and they start training together again. But would be all different because of Arya’s new skills in sword fighting.

Just finished Breaking Bad and I hated Walt. 100%.

So, the show was great as far as the story line, character development and overall drama went, but I found myself highly anticipating the death and demise of Walter - even pretty much as soon as season 2.

He's inconsiderate. He's a huge dick. He's extremely selfish. He's arrogant to an annoying degree and he just doesn't know when to quit.

I completely understand that Walt being this way is what keeps the show going, but it's soooo fucking nerve-racking. I found myself cheering Jesse on and feeling absolutely horrible for him. He got dealt the shittiest hand ALL. THE. TIME.

Sure, Jesse had his own character flaws, but at his core, he was a good person and wanted to help others. Jesse made this entire show more bearable. Mike too, but in terms of main characters, Jesse was the one.

Walt was at his most bearable after he was dying, in the last 3 episodes of the entire show.

Anywho - after El Camino tonight, I'm gonna start Better Call Saul.

Is Nick mentally sick?

Nick somewhat disturbed me in some scenes, and how he essentially thought he was a god and what not. And he’s so fascinated by the walkers and how Nick can control them, was he actual ya just fucked in the head?

How long do you think it took for Nick to disregard Celia's views on walkers?

So she gets her claws into him and causes a rift between him and Madison. The whole Clark family isn't seen together again until the S3 premiere, were they are back on speaking terms and Celia isn't mentioned at all. Nick seems to go back to his original views on walkers.

I'm just wondering when he realised Celia was full of shit.

Succession is so good. Now F off and go watch it

Just finished season 2 of Succession and it's a masterpiece. The actors are phenomenal but it's the writing that really makes the show.

I never knew that watching rich people argue and try to screw with each other could be so entertaining. The writing is some Shakespeare level shit.

Give this show a chance if you haven't already! It's currently free on HBO Now.

Why does Everyone Defend Walts poisoning of Brock?

This honestly shouldn’t have to be a question but sadly it is. Like am I missing something? Every fan I’ve come across say he had no other option other than to poison the kid to save himself and his family. Uh...yeah he did. To go to the police. When Skyler tells him he should do that he just says “you don’t know these people” but come on it’s clear Walt cares more about being able to cook and build his empire which he won’t be able to do if he goes to the cops. That’s the whole point of the show that he doesn’t want to stop so he can keep building his empire. For example when Jesse suggested he go to the DEA before he decided to kill Gail Walt just said “no DEA” with no explanation. I mean he didn’t even consider the option of apologizing to Jesse for how he mistreated him because of his big ego in order to get him back on his side. To prove my point, when he apologized to Jr because he was drugged and drunk enough to think he was Jesse, once he sobered up he regretted doing it cause he didn’t want Jr to see him that way. He can’t admit to his mistakes. I honestly believe if he apologized to Jesse the way he did to Jr Jesse would have accepted.

I mean granted he did try to go to the disappear guy beforehand but it’s clear he still values power which is why no matter what happens he refuses to turn himself in. I’m legit curious how can anyone defend his behavior? Am I missing something? Do u guys honestly think it was justified and why? It bugs me cause so many people say he was never evil by justifying this action of his saying like “oh u would have done the same thing”. Uh... actually poisoning a child would not be the first thing that would come to my mind. Granted I’ve never been in that situation and hope I never will but still.
