...and HOLY. FUCKING. SHIT. Those are the only words I have to describe this show. I just watched the last 4 episodes in a row and finished about 30 minutes and I've just been sitting here thinking and having my mind blown again and again the more I think about everything.
First off, this is hands down the best ending I've ever seen in a TV show. Even though I think this last season was the most depressing season of television I've ever seen, it was also amazing and exactly how things should have happened. I died inside when Gomie and Hank died and had to stop and cry for about 3 minutes when it happened. And then Andrea, just... ugh. But the ending was so satisfying: Walt gets what he deserves finally, Jesse is free, everybody's depressed af haha its great.
This is the best show I have ever seen and I don't think anything will ever top it off. Bryan Cranston's performance is the best acting I've ever witnessed, I totally understand why he won 4 Emmys for the part. I know Aaron Paul and Anna Gunn won 3 and 2 Emmys respectively for their parts but I think the actors(sorry I'm too tired to look up and remember their names) for Hank, Marie, Walt Jr, and Gus should all have won at least 1 each as well. The acting is superb all throughout. Walt and Jesse's relationship is one of the most complicated duos I've ever seen and is just so... perfect!
The camera work is amazing in this show, the shots are so inventive and unlike anything I've ever seen before. The music choices are amazing as well, the montages, etc.
This is as close to a perfect show as I've ever seen, and it may be perfect because I can't think of any flaws right now, and if you have some please don't point them out in the comments. I'm not ready for that yet, I just need to let this show settle. I will try to fill the hole that's left with Better Call Saul, the movie, and as many blooper reels and interviews as I can find.
So yeah, this show has affected me big time and honestly changed me a lot too. Anyways, that's just my two cents, I know a lot of you probably felt the same when you finished.
