So I know everyone has their own opinion of the, what seemed to be, rushed ending of Game of Thrones but regardless of that my main issue is with Daenerys' sudden change from a strong-willed and resilient revolutionary to what appeared to be a bleak-minded, and typical Targaryen e.g. batshit crazy.
For example in Season 8 Episode 5 where Daernerys suddenly envisioned her father's idea of power and burned down King's Landing there's a whole scene where Arya is trying to save a little girl and the scene was obviously made to exemplify the thousands of men, woman and children Daernerys and Drogon had massacred and that they couldn't be saved by anyone. And what really gets to me is that Daernerys' whole character arc is her becoming the Breaker of Chains and all that crap but all of a sudden it just becomes clear that the writers were like 'fuck that we need some action' and it suddenly made a mesmerising tv show become this half-arsed piece of shite.
Personally the overall ending of Game of Thrones didn't anger me nearly as much as what Daernerys' ruined storyline did. And I understand that the ending wasn't based of anything (obviously) however there was so much more they could have done especially with Daernerys' story.
