Hello, everyone.
I am reading the first book of A Song of Ice and Fire for the first time (loving it!) and have just finished the chapter in which Bran is thrown from the broken tower.
My question is this: how did Jaime and Cersei enter the tower? The narration describes it as an area no one could reach ("...he liked going places no one else could go..." "His favourite haunt was the broken tower.")
Obviously it would have been accessible at one point but has since fallen into disrepair. There is no mention of boarded up entrances or anything, yet is still one of those places "no one else could go".
