I'm watching Game of Thrones for the first time on HBO Max, and I come across Season 3 Episode 3 where Brien and Jaime are tied up and Jaime convinces the men to let him sleep on the floor instead of the tree trunk and to let him have supper. Then the man tricks Jaime and talks about how he is nothing without his daddy Tywin, and then cuts off his hand. THEN THE ROCK MUSIC STARTS PLAYING.
Was this a troll episode? I have yet to watch Season 3 Episode 4, which I am going to do immediately after posting this, but by god was that both the best and worst way to end such a blunt scene where a character gets their hand cut off.
I seriously thought I was being trolled and that this was a fake episode - honest to gods truth. I thought this was an April fools episode of the sort.
Seriously, is there a backstory to this? I can't stop laughing and my sides hurt. This is just unbearable XD
