S8E4 funeral scene. Djawadi’s music is so unreal and so essential to the emotion behind this moment. It conveys the immense impact that the loss of life is having not only for the remaining characters, but for the audience who spent the last decade watching the characters develop thoroughly. It’s beautiful yet heartbreaking. I often go listen to the song itself and immediately feel the emotion of the scene along with the scenes from seasons past.
Remarkable job by the composer, really, on all fronts.
