After S7 Ep3 and the Lannister sacking of Highgarden, what happened to the Tyrell army that was away from the Reach at the time? They were marching to King‘s Lansing to join the siege on the city, per Tyrion’s plan (which is why Highgarden was left undefended). But after the sack of Highgarden and Olenna’s death, what happened to the Tyrell army? They’re never mentioned again as if because Olenna died the army simply vanished. The army of the Reach is the largest one any kingdom can field in the Seven Kingdoms and its never mentioned it was damaged or sustained losses, so it would still be of great assistance to Daenerys. Everything online talks about how House Tyrell was “knocked out” of the battle with Olenna’s death, but that doesn’t explain their intact (and presumably still loyal to Dany) army simply vanishing? So what happened to the Tyrell army? Did they join up with Dany’s remaining forces? Did they make it to King’s Landing or were they defeated by the Lannister forces? If they were, we never here about it. Or is this just a gaping plot hole and they got lost on the way to lunch at the Red Keep?
