It REALLY pisses me off how awful Walt is to Jesse. I feel like for sure that was just one of the many emotions Gilligan was trying to make us feel but god damn. Walt just insults him constantly and belittles him and makes him feel like shit. Especially since Jesse is such a troubled character who really just needs help and Walt is/was a teacher who by nature has had to deal with troubled youth (Jesse himself no less). I really would’ve loved one or two scenes where Walt really tries to help Jesse in his personal life. Even the scene where he asks Jesse for a ciggie and asks what he does after work he was just trying to guilt him about not killing Gus yet. That being said, it’s still a stellar show. On my second watch currently
