What was the best settlement Rick’s group had?

So there was;

The Prison, Farm, S1 Camp, Alexandria etc

My vote goes towards The Prison. It was strongly fortified, had farming potential and was far enough away from civilisation.

If they killed the Governor early, the Prison would have been around for a lot longer (maybe indefinitely.)

Edit- For the plot threads I loved the farm, seeing Shane and Rick slowly turn to enemies was incredible to watch plus cool characters were introduced
