The Walking Dead Comics Fan-Made Continuation (Volume 34)

Hey guys! Back again for Part 2 of my fan-made Walking Dead comic continuation! For my first part, which was Volume 33, just go back on my profile and you'll find it! Without further ado, enjoy and please be sure to give your feedback! :)

Issue 199 (Cover: Sebastian looking in the mirror)

Sebastian showers in his residence. Afterwards, he takes a garbage bag that has blood inside and carries it out to the trunk of his car. He drives far away from the Commonwealth and in the bag, it is revealed to be Ginny's chopped up remains. Sebastian then flings the garbage bag into the ocean and stares blankly; not having anymore PTSD attacks and has overcome his trauma, embracing his new self.

One month has passed since Ginny's murder. In Alexandria, Carl and Sophia decide to head to the Commonwealth. Carl talks to Magna, who is now the de-facto leader of Alexandria, telling her to keep on the lookout for any of the men that murdered Riley and Macy's group.

At the Commonwealth, Eugene greets Carl and Sophia when they arrive, happy to see them and coughs. Sophia goes to find Maggie while Carl catches up with Eugene, asking how Lance is holding up. Carl then visits his father's "killer" and taunts him, much to Lance's dismay. Isadora threatens Carl, telling him that everyone is going to pay for what they have done. Meanwhile, Sophia reconciles with Maggie and tells her that she is pregnant with Carl's child, much to her excitement to be a grandmother. Sophia is reluctant to tell Carl, worried how he will take the news, but Maggie assures her that nothing is more important to Carl than his family and that he will be thrilled. In Lance and Isadora's cell, a guard comes down to switch their crap buckets. Isadora, furious by what Carl said to them, seizes the opportunity to attack the guard and retrieves his gun, bashing his head in. Isadora convinces Lance to escape with her, who reluctantly decides to escape as well.

Issue 200 (Cover: Carl is wearing a leather jacket like Negan's. There also variants that show Carl mirroring Rick in the Issue 1 cover)

As Lance and Isadora escape jail, they come across three guards who are heading down toward the jail, but Isadora kills all three of them, while Lance stays back. She berates Lance for not wanting revenge against the Commonwealth, until he ultimately decides to go along with it and kill some people. In Maggie's office that night, she hears a noise down the hall and enters Hershel's room to see Isadora inside with a knife over his bed, but Lance holds her back. Isadora threatens to kill Hershel if she does not allow them to go free. However, the protective mother in Maggie comes out, as she brutally beats Isadora down and stabs Lance in the shoulder, injuring him. Mercer runs in to console Maggie, followed by Carl and Sophia.

Karen tends to Lance's injuries, while Carl repeatedly punches him in the face, telling him that there are no second chances anymore. Carl asks Maggie to bring the people of the Commonwealth out, as there is something he wants to do. The next day, everyone is gathered around, where it is very reminiscent of Issue 100. Carl brings Lance out to the middle of the city and Maggie gives Carl the go ahead. He proceeds to bash Lance's head in with a metal pipe, similarly to how Negan killed Glenn exactly 100 issues ago. Afterwards, Carl taunts Isadora over her husband's death, causing her to freak out, grab a gun and shoots Carl in the back, dropping him to the ground. Isadora is immediately gunned down by Mercer and everyone rushes to Carl to give him medical attention. Carl is revealed to be comatosed and Karen is unsure when he will wake up, claiming that it's all up to Carl now. When she requests some time alone to help tend to him, Sophia says she is not going anywhere.

That night, Sebastian tells Pamela that it looks like Carl was able to avenge his father's death after all, but Pamela says nothing to him and walks away. He is able to deduce that Pamela knows from Ginny and he admits that he was the one who killed Rick, but assures her that they are off the hook now.

That night, Sophia lies next to a comatose Carl, telling him that he will beat this and become stronger than ever. She kisses him on the forehead and lies next to him. It then shows time pass. Seven months later, Sophia is still laying next to Carl, now visibly pregnant.

Issue 201 (Cover: Sophia is sleeping next to a comatosed Carl)

Maggie observes Sophia and Carl from the other room, smiling, but is also saddened that Carl has not yet woken up yet after all this time. Things have been peaceful at the Commonwealth since Lance and Isadora's deaths. Eugene has begun to undergo chemotherapy for his cancer and has lost all of his hair. It is also revealed he ended things with Stephanie, not wanting to crush her if he eventually dies from the cancer. He confides in Michonne about not being strong enough to keep going, but Michonne encourages him to keep pushing on, as he is the smartest man she knows. Sebastian has overcome his PTSD and is a lieutenant for the Commonwealth Army. He also tends to keep the truth about Rick's death a secret between him and Pamela.

At Alexandria, a council has been formed due to Magna not wanting to lead by herself. The council is led by Siddiq and consists of Magna, Yumiko, Heath, Vincent and Riley. Riley and Macy's baby son, Glenn has also been born and is seven months old. At a council meeting, they discuss possible ways to get the word out about Alexandria so other survivors out there can find out about them and join the bigger world.

At the Hilltop, supplies are going scarce. Due to Eugene's illness, he has been unable to produce ammunition for the Hilltop and they are growing desperate for guns. Through the radio, Jesus learns from Maggie that Dr. Houseman is struggling with treating Eugene's cancer and they will have to venture out for more medical supplies. Jesus tells Aaron this, which makes him contemplate breaking his promise to Hector. Later on, Aaron tells Jesus he is going on another solo supply run, which makes Jesus suspicious. He sends Eduardo after Aaron, wanting to know if there are any secrets he is keeping from him.

Issue 202 (Cover: Aaron with his hands in the air as two Huntsmen aim their guns at him. This cover mirrors Issue 68's cover where Rick and Abraham are aiming their guns at him)

Aaron takes a trip to the Huntsmen Gulch, where he is being tailed by someone along the way. When he is almost there, Aaron notices who is following him; Eduardo. He questions Eduardo and why he is following him and Eduardo reveals Jesus sent him to ensure he was okay. Knowing he is caught, Aaron reveals where he is going: the Huntsmen Gulch to request medical supplies to help Eugene's illness. As they continue further, Aaron encounters Melvin, the second-in-command, who allows him to enter. When Aaron meets with Hector again, he tries to negotiate with him into lending them medical supplies to help his dying friend. However, Hector denies the request, claiming that his people come first, allowing him to stay an extra night.

Angry that Hector won't help him, Aaron is getting ready to leave when the Gulch's doctor, Mike Coggins stops him, revealing that he left all the medical supplies Eugene would need in a car a couple kilometres away from the Gulch. When Aaron asks why he is doing this, Coggins simply says that someone you care about who has cancer is a pain he is far too familiar with and tells him to go.

Issue 203 (Eugene is bowing his head while Stephanie is looking back at him)

At the Commonwealth, Eugene and Stephanie walk past each other and exchange awkward banter. As they make small talk, Aaron and Eduardo arrive through the gates with the medical supplies. He gives it to him and assures Eugene that he might have a chance after all. In the infirmary, Dr. Houseman continues to treat Eugene, who remains optimistic about his survival chances. Eduardo gets ready to return to Hilltop, but Aaron tells him he will go back at some point, but to tell Jesus he is okay. However, on the way back to the Hilltop, Eduardo is ambushed. His horse is shot dead and he injures his back. Three Huntsmen ride up on horses and the head one demands to know where the medical supplies are. Eduardo refuses to tell until they shoot him in both legs and he gives in. Having everything they need, they execute Eduardo with his spear.

Sophia gets ready for bed one night and sleeps beside the comatose Carl. As they both lay in bed, the panel zooms in on Carl's eye, which opens.

Issue 204 (Cover: Negan and Luca standing beside one another)

When Carl wakes up, Sophia wakes up as well, who breaks down into tears of joy, hugging Carl, thankful that he has finally woke up. She updates him on everything that has happened and looks at her belly, jokingly saying, "Whoa. That's my kid in there?" Carl reunites with everyone in the Commonwealth, having deep conversations with Michonne and Maggie about how he is happy to be alive and apologizes to Maggie for bringing back any traumatic memories with how he killed Lance being reminiscent to Glenn's death. Carl and Sebastian also bond and laugh with one another, as Sebastian is trying to move past killing Rick and turn over a new leaf with Carl. However, Pamela observes Sebastian doing this with a look of disgust on her face.

At the farm house, Negan makes Lydia breakfast and they exchange friendly banter, giving off father/daughter relationship vibes. He says he is going off on a supply run and brings Luca with him, with Lydia staying back at the farm house. At an old shed, Negan gathers all the supplies he can get and hears Luca barking outside. He goes outside to see the three Huntsmen who killed Eduardo. They aim their guns at Luca and demand that Negan hand over everything. He does so, but recognizes the Hilltop's armor and spear. When one of them tries to pet Luca, he bites him, causing them to get mad and try to kill the dog. Angry to the threat to his dog's life, Negan manages to gain the upper hand and kills all three of the Huntsmen and cradles his dog, showing how deeply he cares for Luca. Afterwards, he examines the head Huntsmen wearing the Hilltop armor and whispers to himself, "That's the Hilltop's."

Hope you all enjoyed!!
