I'm not a comic reader so I don't know if they explained it there but in the show, the whisperers literally live like animals and are always surrounded by zombies. I know they bleach their zombie masks and stuff but STILL. Isn't there a severe lack of hygiene in their lifestyle? How have they not been victims of any disease outbreaks considering how large they are in number? Does anyone have an explanation? It definitely isn't genetic resistance through evolution.
