something i noticed

so i’m rewatching the walking dead & i’ve noticed a bunch of minor similarities between ricks first appearance & his last that i thought were kind of cool

we see a helicopter in 1x1 when rick arrives in atlanta, & we see rick in one in 9x5 when anne leaves with him

in 1x1 he attempts to flee from a herd on horseback, sort of like how he tried to lure the walkers away from the bridge in 9x5

he also has an abdominal wound from where he got impaled in pretty much the same place he got shot at the beginning of the show

and when he was trying to “find his family” while disoriented in 9x5 like he was in season 1 when he was looking for lori and carl

just a few cool things i’ve picked up on in season 1 that reminded me of ricks last episode! were these intentional? or am i just reading too hard into it? hahaha
