In season one episode two of House of the Dragon, Viserys was said to have been the last person to ride Balerion if I’m not mistaken & also it was said that Balerion was the last dragon to see Valyria at its peak or something to that nature & im just confused on the timing cause wasn’t the fall of Valyia like so long before the time line of House Of Dragons? I could be wrong & mixing things up but in the time line of GOT isn’t it when the mad king was killed the Targaryens ruled Westeros for about 1 thousand years up until the point he was killed? So HOTD being 172 years before GOT & Viserys being the last person to ride Balerion wouldn’t that mean Balerion was like hundreds of years old!?
Ps: I am very new to GOT & HOTD only finished GOT recently & just started HOTD so forgive me if I’m horribly wrong 🤣
