Monk is a such a fantastic show with Tony Shalhoub at the forefront. He is such a great actor that makes the character so believable. Every episode is based on a hunch that Monk has, and in the end Monk has to prove it. Ted Levine is such a great character as the Police Captain. Also, all of the other characters are so great in the way they interact with him.
If you haven't watched it, I'd start watching now.
