Everyone: The source for the Inquistir article about James Corden replacing Ellen Degeneres, is a TABLOID and full of faulty errors in the article. NBC is not the show's network. Please read sources before hitting the up arrow.

Please read more than a headline and investigate your sources.

Inquisitr cites The Sun. The Sun is a tabloid. That alone makes it unreliable.

Further, the article is not based in fact.

"Now insiders at the show's network NBC claim that Corden, 41, was seen as "the long term successor" to Ellen long before scandal hit the seemingly squeaky clean host.

NBC Entertainment Chairman Paul Telegdy is part of the executive team overseeing the probes on the claims against The Ellen DeGeneres Show - and deciding on the future of the Emmy winning long running daytime hit series."

Let's break that down. Ellen is a syndicated show, meaning it does not have any one network. Further, it is produced by Telepictures (part of Warner Bros.), and NOT by NBCUniversal. Yes many NBC stations carry the show and that has some weight but they are not the deciding company and NBC is not the network of the show.

They mention Paul Telegdy. He is part of NBCUniversal. Not Telepictures. Not WB. Plus, of all people they picked here, Paul is in serious hot water from an investigation that has started this week: https://deadline.com/2020/07/nbcuniversal-paul-telegdy-investigation-corporate-cuts-mark-lazarus-comcast-gabrielle-union-1202999588/

We live in a time of fast-spreading gossip. When things are truly fake news, and not true news being called fake news as a political move, it is critically important no matter the subject to not give it merit.
