I am not from North America and had heard of Jeopardy! only as a pop culture reference and sketches on SNL.
Alex Trebek is such an elegant host. I like the fact that the show doesn't go too deep into each a contestant's background. Trebek's voice is soothing, no shouting when someone wins big and cracks good soft jokes when there needs to be.
I have seen some TV shows hosted by Tom Burgeron, Drew Carry, and British TV shows but nothing beats Trebek.
A really great host all in all.
