I’m rewatching the show...and I’m really noticing that Jesse’s interior state of his living space is symbolic of his mental health. Some examples -
-when he first moved into the duplex, apartment empty except for barebones; he’s starting new, but isn’t necessarily certain of who he is
-when he and Jane start a relationship, the interior warms up/becomes homey
- when jesse kills Gail and his house becomes a crack house
-when mike makes jesse feel like a hero, jesse kinda gets his control of his life in the way he wants to, crack house becomes clean and organized
Idk just thought it was interesting
