I picked up some things likely obvious to you all and some things maybe not so obvious.
The obvious: Walt's transformation into Heisenberg in the 5th season, and the phone call between him and Skyler near the end being one of love rather than hate/sorrow.
The maybe not so obvious: Walt had many similarities to Gus when the two were nearing their end, both died seeking revenge, and their decision making + dictator-like authority.
