Was watching clips from the TV show and made a connection to how valyrian steel is made. I know I'm probably not the first to say this but I think valyrian steel is made out of dragon glass. It would make sense given Jon Snow killed a white walker with Longclaw. Also it would make sense since dragon glass is formed through molten rock which could easily be produced through dragon's fire. out of curiosity does the book ever rediscover the lost art of valyrian steel? no need for details if it's a yes.
