The recent Favorite Theories thread introduced me to idea that Bronn could secretly be the last living Reyne. Started connecting the dots:
"He moved like a panther, and that ugly sword of his seemed a part of his arm." -Catelyn AGOT
A Panther is clearly "a cat of a different coat", and a lion still has claws, an ugly sword is still a sword "as long and sharp as yours". The Rains of Castamere. Which Bronn is known for singing before the blackwater. Bronn is introduced as an enemy of Tyrion, but quickly learns that is a wealthy traveling companion. The Reynes were once the second wealthiest families in Westeros, and fought Tywin for that honor. Which explains Bronn's endless greed for more money and land from both Jaimie and Tyrion. When Jaime tells Bronn he will have "a more beautiful bride and a much bigger castle", he may be referencing Castamere which was known to mimic the looks of Casterly Rock. Other references? Thoughts?
