Scene of [SPOILERS] getting under Daryl's skin

I get what are they doing with Henry for having a rough childhood, of being adopted, killing a guy from behind and having his teenager problems but he's not that weird to form that complex dynamic with Lydia.

So props to the person from the writing team that put Daryl in that dynamic since his lifestyle is very similar to the Whisperers and both him and Lydia were abused in their childhood (if they don't go PG on the Whisperers). Seems like she got under his skin saying that he's more alike to the whisperers compared to his own people, so I wonder if they had their eyes on him before but left him alone since he got a similar philosophy. A father/daughter dynamic would be great for them since Aaron teased it too, also Daryl got history of feeling like shit for not being able to help or save other kids in the past, like Sophia and Carl. Thoughts? Thanks for reading!
