It’s editing has been done at least since episode 13 aired.
I know someone who works in the industry and according to him the episode would have been done at least 3 weeks in advance probably sooner for a show as big as TWD.
My source told me the more likely thing is that pencil neck HACK Gimple is shelving the episode so there is something to air in October as a “special” in both a ratings stunt and because filming for season 11 hasn’t even started yet.
What they are doing is by late summer they’ll start promoting the finale as some big event focusing on Maggie coming back like its some big thing even though she’s only in 2 scenes.
AMC needs to be called out on this and they NEED to air the finale NOW or someone needs to leak it online as a big middle finger to the network.
