I found a site that shows locations from the show with Google maps and noticed something about the quarry. So, through Season 1 you see them down by the water fishing, doing laundry, catching frogs, but the camp itself is way up on top. To the left under Varona Playground, I think is the exact place, that horseshoe-looking circle. Is that where the tents were? I kind of laughed because the only path to the water looks like a hell of a hike from where camp is, would they have to walk all the way down or is there a closer path the map isn’t showing?
That said, I really thought the quarry camp was neat. Would’ve been interested, seeing if veteran survivors could’ve fortified it properly. Assuming there was just one path down, you could bottleneck unexpected walkers, get enough supplies to get some kind of ladder or steps built into other areas, maybe.
Just remembered: you see Glenn gunning it in that awesome Challenger across one of the top lanes, looked like it was leading down to the water I think. So were they really on the other side, or closer to the water than I thought?
