I was going through my old boxes while snowed in, and I found my NewsRadio DVD's, and I forgot how hilarious it is. The first couple seasons are pretty generic, but still fun, but it really hits it's stride in season 3. More specifically, the episode Day Dream. It really leans into the absurdity and plays to the comedic strengths of this ensemble. A lot of the comedy after that episode is clearly based off this episode.
And it kills me that Maura Tierney sticks to drama these days because she is so freaking hilarious.
And, of course, Phil Hartman is, and always will be, missed.
