with the show heading into the last arc (which only covers roughly 3 volumes until the end from what I remember) it can't continue on for much longer if it intends to stay true to the source material where general plot is concerned, but I read somewhere that they have enough material for 7 more years of plot and with one spinoff already in existence and another on the way I find it hard to believe that they'll actually end the series with the commonwealth arc even just from a business standpoint
