[SPOILERS] Characters that shouldn't have died or should have died differently.

Throughout the show there has been a very prominent pattern of character deaths. I found it enjoyable yet disturbing and even sad sometimes. A lot of deaths were well done and/or justified. The premiere of season 7 was pretty well done, and going back to previous seasons, Shane, Lori, Merle, Tyrese and the governor had some well made and well timed deaths. Some characters however, I found to be a bit unnecessary.

First off, Noah. He was a pretty well developed character, and I liked him a lot. He seemed to be the reason behind the entirety of the hospital episodes, considering Beth dying. I understand he was killed to build a conflict with Nicholas and Glenn, but nonetheless, I thought he should have lasted longer, and had good potential with wanting to help with the walls at Alexandria.

Another small one was Jim from season one. He was interesting enough to say he should have stuck around. The first major attack in the show that killed Amy and Ed got the idea pretty clear how brutal this world was, I just think Jim could have had more to him, especially with him digging the holes and having a large significance to that episode.

Another would be Andria. I get people didn't really like her, and admittedly I didn't care for her too much either, but I felt they shouldn't have killed her off the way they did. She certainly could have survived the situation, and it didn't do it well. I think she could have at least as a much better death, as a sacrifice or something along those lines.

There's plenty more, but I'll end with the entirety of the prison crew. Thomas, Andrew, Big Tiny, Oscar, and Axel were all there. And then they died. The only reason I could think about this move was to show how strangers could be a hazard to Rick's group (which has already been done and established) and to show the Governor's power by knocking off a few of Rick's people that nobody cared about.

I could also get into Jessie and her kids, but I had an entire post just on that.
