Unpopular Opinion: Now hear me out. Obviously the ending isn’t what us GoT fans wanted. But how bad really was S8? Episode 1 was a great build up to episode 2 with Theon making the decision to return to Winterfell and it was wholseome to see the Starks reunite. Episode 2 was simply the lead up to the Long Night. Episode 3 was the Long Night which in my opinion was easily +9.5 rating. It was greatly produced, awesome and Jorah’s sacrifice was one of the best scenes in the show IMO. As much as ‘The Last of the Starks’ receives hate, it was pretty f***ing crazy. Missandei’s excecution, Rhaegal dying, and Jaime/Brianne affair. Gendry proposed to Arya FFS. Why are we hating on it!? ‘The Bells’ was another masterpiece. Varis execution, The Hound V The Mountain, Jaime V Euron, and Daenerys going mad queen. Even Cercei & Jaime dying together was a good/wholesome scene. The only let down IMO was episode 6, ‘The Irone Throne’. It was still pretty entertaining seeing Jon kill Daenerys. I just hated Bran sitting on the Iron Throne as every GoT fan did. As fans we need to come together and support the show and season 8 otherwise other shows will overtake GoT on ratings. I understand that season 8 was short and kinda a let down but GoT will forever be the best show ever! I hope this changed anyones mind. Thoughts? Sorry for such a long read.
