Was just having this discussion about how Theon and his men escaped Winterfell after sacking it. When Theon is talking to Maester Luwin the night before, he suggests Theon to run and to use the tunnels. Fast forward to the next day he gets clubbed in the head and knocked unconscious to which his men say “Let’s go home.” Keep in mind they are surrounded by Northen Soldiers. How did their caravan escape? I don’t imagine Theon shared the tunnels information with his men and I also doubt the siege let them pass. Also the next day Bran and company emerge from the crypt to a burned down Winterfell. What happened?
